Generally speaking, Aziza is a fascinating restaurant, with generally good service and some extraordinary fine tasting food... But just like The French Laundry where the chef once worked, we won't return to either. If money is no issue, go for it. BUT this is one of those places where a lot of what you get is just very small portions... More

This Moroccan restaurant is one of California's finest. Begin with the superb spreads served with flavorfully grilled, not baked, flat bread. Creative preparation of fresh ingredients for a first course always results in a wonderful dish. Last evening we enjoyed a salad plate with parsley root, parsnips, a dab of huckleberry, and sweetened nuts. The duck basteeya, which can be... More

There is no need to fly to Morocco for terrific Moroccan food.. Four of us dined and all were impressed by the food, wine-list and wait-staff. Do you like lentil soup? If so, you MUST order it. You will love it! If lentil soup leaves you cold, then you must still give it a try as it will convert you... More

This was the most creative meal I have ever eaten. It was just exquisite! The pictures are not in the order that we ate them. We had the tasting menu with matching wines. The food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I can hardly wait to go back to San Francisco and eat there again.

I LOVE Aziza. Their cocktails are amazing (my fav is the gin, lavender, orange blossom, honey one) and the food is outstanding. The spreads are sooooo delicious and the duck basteeya is worth weeping over. The ambiance is great too, very romantic.

We have spent a terrific evening at Aziza's. The service is excellent and the food outstanding. The only thing Aziza could improve is the wine list. I missed a wider range of californian wines - nevertheless we'll keep Aziza in best memories! We'll definitely recommend Aziza to all our friends.

the food and service were fantastic. Appetizers like olives, duck turnovers will melt in your mouth. My friends and I shared dishes, the lamb shank and couscous dishes were loved by all. Great service, excellent prices for the quality. Reasonably priced and interesting wine selection. Highly recommended!

Aziza is Moroccan food without any attempt to clothe itself in Moroccan kitsch. The space can be energetic when there are large parties, but it is not overly loud. The wait staff hit that perfect sweet spot between intrusive and inattentive. For an appetizer, we had a plate of "spreads" served with house-made flatbread. The spreads included charred eggplant, yogurt-botttarga, and... More

We went here on the advice of a friend who said that it is her favorite restaurant in San Francisco. We were still pleasantly surprised by the relaxed, informal tone of the decor and the staff. There is nothing fussy or stiff here. Most of the diners were even less formally dressed than we were, and we were pretty low-end... More

Aziza looks vaguely Moroccan because of the arches and tiles. The tables are not piled on top of one another and the noise level is blissfully low. The wait staff is knowledgeable and helpful without being supercilious. If you are meticulous about knowing every ingredient, you may need to check out words such as urfa and ras el hanout in...
