I ordered the Couscous and it was ok, but didn't have the "wow" factor. My girlfriend had the Australian snapper and it was delicious. It is not conveniently located, plan on a 25 to 30 minute drive from the financial district. Atmosphere was pleasant, service was good.

We were driving down Geary, actually looking for a sushi place and a parking spot when we came across this place. No reservation, but we were seated at the bar... Only six seats, but we decided to stay... and that was a good idea. Had appetizers with various flatbread spreads - great presentation and flavor. Then main course... lamb shank... More

The last time I'd been at Aziza's, it was a real Moroccan restaurant, complete with belly dancing and wonderful dishes. This time, the restaurant had completely changed its theme and while the food had lots of Moroccan influences, it wasn't the same as before. Apparently, it had upgraded quite a bit to become one star Michelin restaurant. The decor was... More

I went for the fish special: Thai Snapper. Very undercooked. I am not a big connoisseur of Moroccan food to begin with, and having an underprepared main course didn't help. Love the decor and lighting, and the service was outstanding.

Two standouts - the Duck Confit Basteeya and the Spreads starter. The service was very good and the ambiance in the back dining room was amazing. The cons...not the restaurant's concern (they couldn't apologize enough) we had a lengthy wait for a taxi back to the city center...we ended up sprinting for the city bus which was a laugh at... We ate there tonight and the food was fantastic. We will be back, hopefully many times, and my wife and I were so impressed with the food we are booking a trip to Morocco next year! My only complaint is that Aziza is not located in the East Bay, where we live. I note a few people have mentioned that... More

I hate to rate this restaurant with only 2 stars, but felt that the food was not outstanding. Having ate at many Michelin Restaurants (1/2/3 stars), I felt that it did not live up to the 1-star rating. We ordered the pre-fix menu for 5 people and the food came out at a great pace. However, the taste on a... More

I took my daughter here on a daddy daughter date because the place was so highly recommended. The ambiance was great. The service was fine. I was just not a fan of the food. It was expensive but didn't taste that great. It might be really high quality Moroccan food but I just wasn't a fan.

I spent $200 for myself and a date and I think it was worth the money. We split the spreads appetizer which was 3 different spreads with flatbread and then split a halibut dish and the lamb shank. We were full by the end. Each had a cocktail ($12 ea) and split a bottle of wine. I think the lamb... More
