Great Moroccan Food with a Modern Twist

Excellent atmosphere, great quality food. But most importantly the food served is Moroccan but with cooked with some interesting twists. An example is an excellent lamb shank cooked with the "sous vide" method and then served with a great sauce. Their couscous is excellent and light. Do not miss... read more

This is a Michelin One Star restaurant, possibly the only Moroccan restaurant rated such by Michelin. You can smell the herbs and spices just walking into the seating area. My wife and I chose the tasting menu at $75 per person, and although we had some initial trepidation, it turned out to be a great choice. The food server helped... More

Fantastic cocktails, fine dining and very tasty foods. Service was great and helpful but not fussy. Decent wine list with some pearls there.

We would have loved to love this restaurant as it was our last meal in San Francisco and we had read great reviews but the 15 minutes we spent there were awful. We waited at the door for the restaurant to open for 15 minutes and then after we were seated the waiter came to take our drink orders -... More

Loved the food, service and ambience. Had the dips to start with, fish and lamb for mains. All an amazing modern fusion of morrocan falvours. The deserts were to die for. Bought the cookbook.

Met my sister and friend here recently with my wife. This was a terrific eating and dining experience. The homemade food was great. Fantastic selection. The homemade flatbread was delicious with various spreads. The service was upscale and professional. The restaurant is pricey , but well worth it for a special event.

A large group of us enjoyed a meal at this gem of a restaurant in San Francisco. The wait staff was aware of (my) gluten allergies in advance and had prepared well to guide me through a lot of GF options on the menu. The overall meal presentation, quality, taste and pace was perfect. The cost is moderate to high... More

This is more like a foodie's Moroccan restaurant rather than a regular Moroccan restaurant. The homemade flatbread (SO good) appetizer featured spreads with fresh, interesting tastes--yogurt and dill; eggplant, piquillo-almond. The duck confit basteeya was rich and flavorful. The waiter recommended 2 for a table of 5 but we got 1 instead and were glad we did--two would have been... More

Excellent dining, whe choose the family style and we're able to try different plates, I was really impressed after being fortunate to dine in very up scale restaurants.

Aziza serves microscopic size portions of very good food. Make sure to read the other reviews that mention leaving still hungry after you have spent $100 per person for dinner. The couscous was delectable, all two tablespoons of it. And that was the $19 entrée portion. The wine list carries on their idea of value. A nice Skylark Pinot Blanc... More
