Disappointed

We were recommended this place by a local. Having visited Marrakech before, I was really looking forward to a traditional tagine. I was really disappointed when they didn't have one on the menu. The food was nice but not great. The service was good and it had a nice atmosphere.

Entering the restaurant through the curtain was much like what we experienced on a 10 day trip to Morocco two years ago. We sat in a commodious booth, as in so many places in Morocco. The food was excellently prepared, and beautifully presented. It had the French influence, like you see in Marrakech. We had the appetizer plate of half... More

Having spent close to 2 weeks recently traveling through Morocco I found very little on the menu similar to the traditional cuisine we had on our trip. None the less we had an outstanding meal with the French influenced preparation highlighting the subtle Moroccan spices. A definite highlight of our trip to California.

Good place for delicious Morroccan cuisine. Delcious Chicken Wings, some of the best I have had, with exotic seasoning. Good cocktails and winelist. Good value.

For a 1-Michelin star restaurant, this place is surprisingly chill, friendly and unpretentious. The ambiance and decor felt like the riads/restaurants we've been to in marrakech, really dark with beautiful lighting. The hubby and I shared the spreads/flatbread and honey sesame boneless chicken wings for starters and the couscous and duck basteeya for entrees. The flatbread that comes with the... More

we went to Aziza at our daughter's recommendation. It was great. We were a party of 5 so our appetizer was the duck dish and an item called the spread for the table. It was so tasty the favors went very well together. I had the salmon which was good but not spectacular but my husband had the lamb shank... More

Really relaxed and informal atmosphere with amazing food. Every plate was beautifully presented and an absolute pleasure to eat. I though the tasting menu was great value for money.

We shared a late evening meal on a rainy Friday evening. The service was excellent--attentive but not cloying. The cocktails were well crafted and very unique. The Moroccan meal was delicious flat bread and a variety of dips, duck basteeya, fish, and lamb shank shared by the table. A fine dessert finished the meal.
