Dinner

Family member lives a few blocks away from this restaurant so we've been there most over several years. Very plain decor yet didn't matter. Dinners hot, wine and hot bread to start. I don't believe a full bar? Not sure. Food always good.

We've eaten her twice and each time was great. Fun place; great menu; great food; great drinks; great service. Friendly place.

Wow!! What a great find. Small but very tastefully done. Great martini - food was phenomenal. Valet parking so no hassle there. One of the best beef dishes I've ever had. The polenta was out of this world. We will definitely be putting this restaurant in our rotation!!

This used to be a good restaurant, one of our favorites. Last night we noted how it had gone downhill. The portions of fish, seafood, and meat are the smallest of any restaurant I've ever eaten at. The calamari appetizer contained about four very small chunks of calamari. They should either drop this from their menu or provide a more... More

Overall the food was excellent and fresh. The noise level was something else and hard to get used to. Spent more time concentrating on my meal than on conversation.

Invited a couple of dear friends who live in The City to join us for dinner here. We had purchased a voucher on Groupon to use. We were 15 minutes early for our reservation (5:00 p.m.) and were told that the dinning room didn't open until 5:00 but we could have a seat at the bar and have a drink... More

Get the Brussels sprouts. I promise you, you'll thank me and you will thank Garibaldi's for making them. As a matter of fact, you probably don't even need dinner after those and a salad. Good idea to order and share. Service was fabulous. Matt was our waiter and he made great recommendations, was fun to chat with and timed our... More

While visiting friends in San Francisco, they took us to Garibaldi's for dinner. The setting was elegant, sophisticated and energetic. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. Great value for the quality of food served. They start you our with great bread and a beautiful warm olive tapenade. Don't waste the juice! I started the the Risotto Balls (killer) followed... More

Our family of four ate dinner at this restaurant on February 15, 2015. We did not have a reservation and were lucky to get a table. When I eat here again, I will make a reservation. We shared a Malbec wine from Argentina which was good. The four of us shared a Garibaldi salad which was excellent and sufficient for... More

We found this gem off Sacramento Street and decided to try it. Beautifully appointed. WOW, from our welcome by Jeff at the door to his fabulous suggestions for dinner we had a wonderful experience. The small plates, meant to be shared, are exceptional- the fried brussles sprouts topped with toasted slivered almonds were delicious. Lamb tenderloins a HIT and the Chicken... More
