Had dinner here with my husband on a monday night because it was close to our hotel. We didn't have a reservation, and when they seated us it was between two groups that were pretty loud. The menu had a nice variety but not too many vegetarian options. I had a pasta with zucchini and onions that was very good... More

We had lunch here (two of us) and had a table by the window. It was quiet and very pleasant. The lunch menu is limited but reasonable choices for lunch. Prices were reasonable for the food but very pricy for wine ($10 ++ for a glass; $6.50 for Stone IPA; and, $7.50 for a double espresso that had to be... More

Garibaldi serves delicious food. Mostly Italian, though some other Mediterranean influences. The lamb is always delicious, and if I drive by in the evening, I always roll down the windows to smell the wonderful aromas coming out of the restaurant. The tables are a little closely packed, my only complaint.

We were there with friends from San Francisco, and this was their recommendation. I agree with the noise level, we were lucky sat at the back. Small narrow restaurance, can be difficult to spot. Service was excellant both very helpful and observant without be intrusive. They did not seem to mind the length of time we spent there. And the... More

I went to SF to visit an old friend who lives right across the street from the restaurant - I told her that I wanted to take her somewhere nice for dinner and she told me that there was no place she'd rather go in that wonderful city than Garibaldi's. So, we walked across the street and voila! Simply wonderful... More

Not really Very Good - but good - lots of interesting items - meze really - the potato meze was great and had a middle eastern bent as did the broccoli offering = Egyptian seasoning and quite good. The Cavatelli with ricotta, mint, pea pod not much flavor and ore like a stir fry-

I visited this place on a business trip with a client and colleague. The food was very good. We had a turkey breast club, a Milanese salad and a vegetable salad. The service was average - our waiter could have been more attentive. With a couple sport teas, our bill was $52.68 before tip. I'd visit again.

The food is outstanding. However, the noise level is - LOUD - especially on the weekends. If you go early on a weekday, you will likely have a quieter time. Near the JCC and in a nice area of SF without having to step over people on the street.

This is where the locals go in an upscale area. Good ambience. Nice menu. Carlos was an excellent server who even provided a recipe we asked about. Reservations are a must. Good place to celebrate a birthday, or just a nice night out.

It was walking distance from the hotel, the ambience was good and it had a nice bar. The food also was good.
