We were served by friendly, helpful ladies who were happy to share stories about the preparation of the dishes. The food that followed was remarkable...fresh flavours blended subtly with spices and herbs. All of the party praised the menu and value!

Party of 8 at the round lazy Suzan table. Shared green tea salad, lamb samosas, short ribs and seafood dishes. Will definitely come back!!!

Loved the tea leaf salad and platha dip, followed by the chicken and Shrimp casserole. Very flavorful and more than enough for the two of us; the remainder of the chicken will make a nice sandwich. Not much atmosphere and warm inside, but folks go there for the great food. We should have noted the call ahead to reserve recommendation,... More

I have been to asia and eaten a lot of different kinds of chicken, but the one I ate in B.Superstar is probably the best I have ever had! Awesome burmese kitchen, great attention, small cozy atmosphere. It is worth the wait!!!

This place isn't near any of the normal tourist stops... but it is worth the trek. There was a long wait, which was also worth it. The food was amazing, and there was plenty of it. Good relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

Call ahead and put your name down, then show up an hour later..... This really does help! The tea leaf salad is so unique and flavorful, the samosa soup is so hearty- a meal in itself! The garlic eggplant was so tender and steamed to perfection. I wouldn't order the egg noodle dish, heavy and too much like linguini. Coconut... More

Luckily, we have some really great friends that drove us around the city for 2 days taking us to all the sites, restaurants, etc. This is the last place they took us...Oh My God, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I'm not kidding. First time for Burmese food and I'm in love. I can honestly say this... More

We popped in for lunch in this small restaurant. Parking is not easy, and I'm told there is usually a wait. For us, parking was not easy, but there were a few empty tables. The tea leaf salad uniquely combined various ingredients, including a fermented tea leaves. It was very good. My wife's dish was pretty good, but its the... More

Wasn't hard to get into - but we went at 5:30pm. Line was much longer by the time we left. The place isn't much to look at- either from the front or inside. Loud, tightly packed, no real decor to speak of. (And my buddy from San Fran says this was after renovation) But the food truly is amazing. I... More

We were visting friend in California and they took us to Burma Superstar for dinner. They kept mentioning that we might beat the rush since we went around 6:00 pm....boy were they right. As soon as we sat down, this place was packed in a matter of minutes, and i know why. The food is very good. The food is... More
