My girlfriend, a former long-time SF resident, took me for Valentine's Day. We waited 2 1/2 hours for a table and it was totally worth it! Delicious food that has a unique blend flavors that are not comparable to any other specific ethnic dish. We had veggie samusas, pumpkin shrimp, and tofu and okra. My favorite though, was the rainbow... More

Tea salad, chili lamb, samusa soup, shan noodles - yummy, complex tastes that will keep you coming back for more.Unfortunately place is very popular and the wait is always very long. SO come super early or very late to avoid long lines.

We waited 1 hour for a table but the experience was worth it. We started with appetizers a burmese samusas, lettuce cup and a Tea Leaf Salad...it's the best salad I have tried. Because we were curious we ordered a main dishes and they were so delicious...chicken Curry Dahl and Nan Pia Dok both delicious...but it was too much. We... More

My sister has lived in SF for years and took us here, and it did not disappoint! The broccoli, lettuce cups and samosa soup were just a few of our favorites - look forward to returning every time we visit my sister.

My wife and I travelled to Myanmar in late 2013 for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it and especially the food. This is the first restaurant in American since that trip that we have had the opportunity to enjoy the food again, and they didn't disappoint. We ate the fermented tea leaved salad everywhere in Myanmar, and although... More

Great lunch portion - I ordered the pumpkin and pork stew. I also ordered the samusas. So if you're starving the lunch portion is not gonna fill you up. The ginger lemonade was ok - not too tart and not too sweet. It was slow for 12:30 in the afternoon and I found parking... I got lucky according to the... More

Never had that before and will probably never have it so good anywhere else! Never knew that was a combination and never knew I would fall in love with it. That is a lot of 'never's for a place you have to go eat at!

Went twice this week, once for lunch alone, once for dinner with a group. Excellent! Taste, service, amount, fair price--a new SF favorite of mine. Quite close to flavors I enjoyed in Burma.
