My wife and I travelled to Myanmar in late 2013 for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it and especially the food. This is the first restaurant in American since that trip that we have had the opportunity to enjoy the food again, and they didn't disappoint. We ate the fermented tea leaved salad everywhere in Myanmar, and although... More

Great lunch portion - I ordered the pumpkin and pork stew. I also ordered the samusas. So if you're starving the lunch portion is not gonna fill you up. The ginger lemonade was ok - not too tart and not too sweet. It was slow for 12:30 in the afternoon and I found parking... I got lucky according to the... More

Never had that before and will probably never have it so good anywhere else! Never knew that was a combination and never knew I would fall in love with it. That is a lot of 'never's for a place you have to go eat at!

Went twice this week, once for lunch alone, once for dinner with a group. Excellent! Taste, service, amount, fair price--a new SF favorite of mine. Quite close to flavors I enjoyed in Burma.

I was so excited considering how long the wait is usually. The service was great, but the food was really, really average. My noodles tasted like soap, but my salad was good.

Went because of all the great reviews on here and was not disappointed. Don't be discouraged by the wait!!! The chili lamb and butter chicken dip were high points, and the white wine sangria with lychee and mint was unreal. Will definitely go again when in the Bay Area.

Arrived at 5:00 on a December Saturday evening, and there was a long line. Luckily we were the last 2 to get a seat at a communal table. Otherwise there could have been a long wait and we might not have stayed. Having eaten at Burma Superstar, the wait would be worth it. Service very good. Our waiter Kenny was... More

We were a party of 5 went there for lunch. It does not take reservation. The restaurant opens at 11:30am and about 10 minutes before it opened there were already a queue outside enough to fill in 3/4 of the seats. We ordered rainbow salad, noddle salad, cat fish curry, fried chicken with basil, egg plant and tofu. The cat... More

You have to get the rainbow salad...and the tea leaf is pretty good too! Can't remember everything else I had, but it was all yummy!
