A fantastic restaurant that is worth whatever it takes to make the trip. We had a hard time finding parking. Awesome salads (Rainbow salad is amazing). Try the casserole with shrimp and chicken. Oh so savory with complex flavors. The house cocktails aren't so good but they have a nice variety of beers. The wait staff is friendly and helpful.... More

Tiny place, but excellent food and service! Try the Burma Cooler, it is very refreshing. We split the tea salad and garlic noodles with duck. Both were fresh and tasty. We went around 1:15pm and did not have to wait.

Delicious! Best part was the salads - rainbow salad and tea leaf salad. Atmosphere was cozy and the service was decent. We waited about an hour starting at 6:15 on a Sunday evening.

One of the best meals of our trip in every way. We encountered a long bus delay on our way here from Union Square, which ended up taking over an hour. When we arrived at Burma Superstar, the wait was 45 minutes and ended up taking an hour. We were really questioning whether this would be worth all the time... More

Ok, if you go to this restaurant, you will wait. We got there before they opened, and there was a line down the block. We were second on the waiting list, and we sat outside for an hour. Having said that, the food was fabulous. My favorites? Have the coconut rice. We ended up ordering a second order because its... More

Food is excellent, portions are massive, plan to share! Tables are tight, beer available on draft. I tried the lamb samusas which were fabulous, and the chicken dhal curry, also superb, but comes 8 pc chicken on the bone .

After waiting 2 hours (most ever for a restaurant) at a convenient Irish pub across the street we were ready for a Burmese meal recommended by many. All recommendation prove to be true. Starting with rainbow salad and ti leaf salad we waded through a plethora of Burmese cuisine. All the dishes were yummy but the chili lamb really stood... More

This was my second time to Burma Superstar, I try to give a place a few objective dines before writing a review. The first time was good, and this time was just as good, if not better. A friend and I hit up Burma on a Friday about 11:45am. We beat the lunch rush and were seated immediately. The place... More

We'd seen the great reviews and we were a little bit skeptical, but Burma Superstar was a truly memorable experience. The food was delicious and satisfying, fresh and bursting with new flavors, and the service was friendly and very efficient. We went for Sunday lunch and arrived 15 minutes before they were due to open. There was a bit of... More
