Great Restaurant in SF: Dishes Listed

Service was excellent and the atmosphere was homey. It isn't very large and doesn't have a bar and the wait might be long but it is worth it! We ordered (and would recommend): Tea Leaf Salad, Rainbow Salad, Nan Pia Dok, Fiery Vegetables with Tofu and Garlic noodles. The salads were amazing... read more

This spot is always packed so be prepared to wait but the food is incredible. Once you get a table the food is fast. The coconut juice is straight out the coconut. Fresh bomb food.

Welcoming and nice place offering the interesting burmese cuisine. Not the best choice for the romantic dinner but the right one to taste something really good!

We went to Burma super star and had a long wait which helped build up our appetites. Once seated in this cozy restaurant, we were greater by the friendliest servers, excellent food and drinks and an overall enjoyable and extremely satisfying meal. Being vegetarian we got the rainbow salad, tea leaf salad, samusa soup, tofu kebab, the coconut rice, and... More

Very authentic, and value for money. Lots of veg/non-veg options. The staff is nice, and helps you in selecting your order, as not too many people are aware of Burmese cuisine.

Came here for lunch with friends. The food was made to perfection and taste was awesome. The service was warm and to sum it up a near perfect experience.

This restaurant is terrific. The food is outstanding, as is the service. We shared soup, noddles, and salad dishes and found all of them to be delicious; portions were substantial. You can't make reservations so expect a wait. They will call you so you can walk in the local area.

The tea leaf salad here is worth the wait to get a table alone. We have been coming here to the one in San Francisco for years, and visit the one in Oakland fairly regularly as well. Both have consistently delicious Burmese food and you can't find a bad item on the menu. We typically also get the curry okra... More

Always enjoyable to see a simple place with a long line. We got take out and avoided the line. all the dishes were good, none spectacular. And when you get $100 of takeout and they don't ask if you want rice, it seems a bit rude to charge for rice when we have to run back 10 minutes later. Enjoy... More
