Excellent brunch, good and friendly

Went here for brunch with local friends on a Saturday late morning. Good food, big portions and excellent value for money. Tasty and huge choice. Good and efficient service. Very friendly greeter (with a fab new amazing haircut) - no wait in line for a table for five. Would definitely go again.

A very enjoyable experience for me at lunch time at this busy restaurant (between Guerrero & Valencia) where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full bar. There is an extensive menu with loads of interesting choices. I went for pork and the serving was plentiful, tasty and excellent value. I chose an IPA from a good choice... More

So many people have recommended this place.. I felt like I had to go! Anything with "pork" in the name... IS AWESOME! Was alone and ate at the bar. Had the Hash Benny with hash browns instead of english muffin. When it arrived the poached egg yolk goo was oozing all over the corned beef hash. Yum. Had to get... More

Had a lovely brunch with friends here. Comfort food with a Mexican twist. Usually its very crowded but not today. Large portions and great value. Server wasn't the nicest, but the food made up for it. Large mimosas! Tons of vegetarian options on the menu as well. Would definitely go back!

Weekends and holidays are very busy - usually a wait to get in. They have a large bar area, tv's playing sports, a good sized dining area and a make your own bloody-mary bar with plenty of fixins. The portions are large - good for the less than health conscious or the hungover crowd - lots of breakfast choices with... More

A friend and I were in the area, and were looking for a place to brunch on a late Sunday afternoon. She had been there before and thought we should go back. We walked in and were seated immediately in a comfy booth, and handed a very expansive menu. I was a little overwhelmed by the choices. SARAH came over... More

We've eaten many times at the Haight location which is fun ... crowded and a bit crazy. This was totally different. Easy to get in, not sitting on top of someone. Same great food. Give me a big plate of hash browns and a big fluffy biscuit and I'm happy. One of us had to Crab scramble .. very good... More

I have been going to this restaurant since 1980, and the quality has continued to be consistent. The Food is GOOD. The portions are huge, and satisfying. It gets busy on the weekends, but it's worth it. I have tried many different items on the menu, and time after time, they have all been good. You get good food at... More

Best bet: biscuits and gravy, Nadia's scramble (veggie). Large servings, great hash browns, all manner of egg dishes, bloody mary bar on the weekends, full bar all the time. Also great burgers, pulled pork and more for late risers. They serve a late lunch until 4 or 5 I believe, but we usually go for breakfast. Haight location equally good,... More

they say good for large parties, and that is not the case. there were 10 of us, we first checked in before noon, when they told us it would be about 45 minutes. no problem. after 1 1/2 hours later, we had yet to be seated. we left then. would never ever try this place again
