having eaten out a lot in different restaurants, we thought we would try this Indian restaurant. The bar area was very busy when we walked in but plenty of tables to eat at inside. We ordered out food and thought we would try a cocktail each, these were very poor and so weak we sent them back, they... read more

New Dehli Restaurant & Bar provided a welcome meal after a long journey across the country. We just arrived in San Francisco & checked into our hotel, the King George. New Dehli is around the corner from the hotel. It is in an unassuming building, but once inside, the restaurant is oppulent. What a surprise! The food was really good... More

The New Delhi restaurant is great. My wife and I stopped by and drank some wine and had a meal at the bar, while talking with the wonderful bartender, Heather. She was engaging, informative and a pleasure to chat with. The food was exceptional and the price was perfect. I'd recommend the New Delhi to anyone in the area. While... More

If you like Indian Food, this is the place! Most reasonable meal we had in the city on this trip and truly the best as well. We tried to eat here for dinner on the Friday we arrived but it was a VERY long wait-packed with people!! We came back for lunch the next day and were seated immediately. We... More

Our first experience at New Delhi several years ago was exceptional but our latest visit is certainly our last. Rather than improve or stick with the unique flavors and dishes customers raved about, the kitchen is now serving flavorless and greatly diluted meals. Dishes that should be served with rich, robust sauces are more of a weak broth that is... More

We just had a nice dinner at New Delhi Restaurant. It is an interesting location. You enter through the front door and pass by their warm and friendly bar to the rear. Then it opens up to a fabulous dinning area. The menu has a good variety of Indian selections. Be confident and select dishes from several areas. you will... More

I finally found a place in SF with the same flavors and taste than my time in Asia. The waitress was very nice, even though she was very busy, she took the time to take pictures of us, thank you Pria :)

The was a real diamond in the rough. In this Tenderloin District was bar was set very low for dining. However this was a fabulous place, close to being on par with Boston Indian restaurants.

Been a few times and each time is the same. I always try to be positive and so I will say that the food is fantastic but don't go if you are on a tight schedule. Service is great but once you order there tends to be a wait before the food arrives. If you are travelling with small children,... More
