Sunday brunch

One of the best brunch experiences we have ever had. Loved the pop tart! The Bloody Mary was outstanding. The setting itself is great. We can't wait to return for dinner and to see a film.

If you want to dine and not be rushed, Foreign Cinema is the place. We were a group of seven. We enjoyed a few appetizers-especially enjoyed the Kale Caesar Salad. It should be noted that the menu changes frequently and, while that is a good thing, something you may really like might not be there next time. Everyone enjoyed their... More

The food was okay the restaurants looks great but the service was very slow. We still need to ask the waiter for a drink and it took a very long time before we get our food

I have nothing bad to say about foreign cinema. I went there for a late dinner on Sunday night and was immediately impressed with the beautiful decor and delightful ambiance. We had to wait about 20 minutes for seating but it went by quickly at the cocktail bar at the back. We had a 3 course meal which included a... More

Foreign Cinema is a really special restaurant that everyone who visits San Francisco should make a point of going to during their stay. The setting is striking, and despite it being winter it was cosy and warm despite being housed in an open air cinema. This is the perfect place for a romantic date - the service is attentive whilst... More

I liked the restaurant and good but my friend did not. We had two good apps - tuna and carpaccio. I ordered the pasta and my friend had quail, which was very chewy. Expensive

We spent a delightful evening with friends, sat outside with the darkening sky, a city hawk sitting rooftop nearby. The food was delicious (we tried lots of appetizers and shared) and even with lots of food and wine, our bill was a reasonable (considering the type of restaurant and food quality) $200 for 4. It was a splurge, but worth... More

The food was good but very expensive. The atmosphere was loud so you could watch the film but couldn't really hear the film. That being said, i'd try it at least once for the experience.

Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
