Very neat venue with sky high ceilings and a great outdoor space. The food was good but not amazing and the service was a bit bland and almost snobby. It gets very loud and difficult to hear conversations at your own table. The outside is non-descript and kind of concerning but the restaurant itself had great decor and a nice... More

The food was ok. The service was not coordinated (why bring one glass of wine at a time and bring them after we have our main dish in front of us?). The ambiance in the "Art Gallery" is quite plain. Tables spread out. The light is crisp. Not at all the experience we had in mind when we read about... More

In a former theater, the restaurant is nice and trendy with it's high ceilings and outside seating but it's quite noisy and sometimes could not hear my friend talking. The service was fine, the food was good and very tasty but not the quantity! It's expensive for a tasty "soup" with 12 clams and 6scallops. My friend found her pork... More

Came here with a group of friends for dinner, we had a drink in the bar attached while waiting for our table, which is a cool little bar in its own right. We were suitably impressed by the selection, and the server was very helpful in explaining some of the dishes. There are some interesting choices, and a great selection... More

This is a great restaurant in the Mission District, exceptional food, great wine list, friendly and helpful staff. The outdoor area has a great vibe and was lots of fun. Would definitely return next time in San Francisco.

We were seated inside and I will warn you that seating is very tight and the restaurant is quite loud. The server was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu which is helpful, because it is very detailed. I'm broadening my culinary horizons, but the menu didn't do the dishes justice. Our server made some great suggestions and we enjoyed we everything... More

This is a really fun restaurant. If you can be seated outside in the courtyard do so - they really do show movies while you eat! The fish is fresh and the wine selections are great. It was worth the $30 (?) Cab ride to the Tenderloin district where it is. Fun atmosphere and an eclectic place.

EVERYTHING we tasted was absolutely delicious. The calamari was like nothing I've ever tasted - scrumptious! The salmon was remarkable. For dessert, I had the cheesecake with apricot and of course, was not disappointed. The ambiance of the restaurant is a treat as well. If in San Francisco, you must visit.

We have not dined at FC for quite some time and decided yo make a return visit recently. The restaurant has a unique and beautiful setting and is really a gorgeous space. We started with some fun cocktails, moved on to some tasty appetizers and then the highlight of our meal, our entrees! Both the pork chop and the bavette... More
