Reserving a table

We went last night to celebrate my daughters wedding. She had booked ahead weeks ago and assured a table for 13 would be kept free. On arrival no table had been reserved and with several guests set to arrive from the City Hall ceremony you can imagine our concern. Limon delivers really delicious food at very reasonable (but not cheap) prices. Every dish our table of 6 ordered was flavorful and distinct. The drinks were unique and very tasty as well. A very fun place! Also, I had a personal breakthrough trying and liking beef tongue for the first time! Thank you Limon!

The Pisco Sour is an absolute knock out drink. The Ceviche de Pescado was amazingly good, a perfect meld of beautiful fish and fresh crisp flavours. The acoustics in this restaurant leave a little to be desired, but the food more than makes up for it

Loved the spicy, limey ceviche and mean cocktails they serve at this Mission joint! Will be back for more tongue tingling ceviche por favor!

Wish I had read Tripadvisor first and noticed the person who saw roaches here. Gross. I came here for lunch and was served a cold piece of chicken (which is their specialty and is supposed to come hot) with the unpleasant inside parts and back bones still attached. The rice and beans looked like baby mush, was also cold and... More

Great food and inspired Pisco cocktails with friendly and knowledgeable servers. Their famous rotisserie chix is a must - perfectly seasoned and moist with crispy skin. Be sure to try all 3 Aji sauces. The starters, sides and small plates were all wonderful. We (3 of us) enjoyed the red snapper ceviche including my hubby, who doesn't care for raw... More

My wife and I met a close friend for dinner last night at Limon. We hadn't been there before, but certainly will go back. We had the ceviche and short rib small plates; both were excellent. Our entrees were a whole roast chicken and a skirt steak plate; again, both dishes proved to be very good choices. Service was friendly,... More

We returned to Limon with a Swedish guest who had never tried Peruvian cuisine. By evening's end she and we were very impressed with the food quality and the service. We live out of town and have been dining at Limon for many years dating back to their small restaurant around the corner. We have always eaten downstairs and were... More

We were glad we stumbled on this restaurant. I had the rotisserie chicken, which was tender and full of flavour - probably one of the best I've ever had. The steak was good too, but for me the highlight was the chicken.

Came here with an out of town guest (I am local). I have not been here for a while and wanted to show him the Mission district. A quick BART train ride from downtown, and another quick 1 block stroll to the restaurant. Don’t drive here – parking is impossible. We ordered a nice bottle of Argentinian red wine, started... Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city.
