I was there with a few friends the other night. We shared a great chicken ad a few of the dishes there. I was especially surprised by the beef tongue (something you do not find everywhere, and I always enjoy). The sangria was oddly sweet: i liked it, but I was initially expecting something more like Spanish sangria, while this... More

The same friends that introduced me to Firefly gluten-free fried chicken took me to Limon in the super hipster below Market area where SF is happening. They live in SF and they get around and know what is best and when. Limon is amazing. It is loud and crowded upstairs, looks like any other hipster joint, but they sport a... More

While treveling in San Francisco I was a little nervous about trying a Peruvian restaurant but I was pleasantly suprised with Limon. We had 6:30 reservations and we were seated immediately. The service was excellent and our meal came out fast, hot and fresh. I loved the chicken; it was moist and tasty. The roasted vegetables and the garden salad... More

Even if you are not used to strong flavours, in Limon you can taste all kind of typical peruvian food that won't disappoint you! It's a good place to go with friends because it can be noisy. But the experience is worth.

We went last night to celebrate my daughters wedding. She had booked ahead weeks ago and assured a table for 13 would be kept free. On arrival no table had been reserved and with several guests set to arrive from the City Hall ceremony you can imagine our concern. Tables were initially pushed together near the toilets ! we suggested... More

Limon delivers really delicious food at very reasonable (but not cheap) prices. Every dish our table of 6 ordered was flavorful and distinct. The drinks were unique and very tasty as well. A very fun place! Also, I had a personal breakthrough trying and liking beef tongue for the first time! Thank you Limon!

The Pisco Sour is an absolute knock out drink. The Ceviche de Pescado was amazingly good, a perfect meld of beautiful fish and fresh crisp flavours. The acoustics in this restaurant leave a little to be desired, but the food more than makes up for it

Loved the spicy, limey ceviche and mean cocktails they serve at this Mission joint! Will be back for more tongue tingling ceviche por favor!

Wish I had read Tripadvisor first and noticed the person who saw roaches here. Gross. I came here for lunch and was served a cold piece of chicken (which is their specialty and is supposed to come hot) with the unpleasant inside parts and back bones still attached. The rice and beans looked like baby mush, was also cold and... More
