The setting is very nice, interesting menu and good service. They deserve to celebrate their 25 years! I would definitely eat there on future trips to San Francisco.

We walked in to a very inviting bar, dark wood and Italian meats hanging from above! We were just planning on a cocktail but decided on a snack as well. The BEST calamari we have ever had!! Not your typical Tony's pizza type heavy breading, oily and jarred sauce. This was so light and tender and not oily at all.... More

Had a pre-theater meal here (so close to the San Francisco Playhouse). We were on the early side of the evening on a Tuesday, so the place wasn't hopping, but that was good because we had a great waiter. I enjoyed my hearts of romaine salad (though I picked over the bitter purple romaine that was added for color). My... More

The staff think the dining experience is all about them. Food was good; waiter was ok. Could not get a refill on ice tea--obviously we should have been drinking wine. Not the Kuleto's from the old days.

Kuletos had excellent food. The bruschetta was divine. duck main course was fabulous as was the veal scallopini! Salad was very fresh. Tiramisu was unbelievable! The service was over the top. The only drawback was the noise level. It was close to Union Square and our hotel.

They have an inhouse bakery where they produce their pasta and bakery goods daily. Very fresh and excellent quality. Varied Italian seafood menu should have something for everyone. The grilled Radicchio was wonderful and the Tune Crudo was excellent. Salads fresh and crispy with nice dressings. At our table we had the Risotto and Veal Scaloppini. Both were very good... More

Not a place that would typically attract us, but we were strongly recommended to it by a friend, just a block off Union Square though not the nicest block, this is a large, traditional restaurant, when we typically seek out smaller, more stylish places. But...... Excellent food, good and fairly priced wine selection, great staff. Very professionally run. Had lunch... More

Service was wonderful. Food delicious. Loud but that was ok. Conveniently located in Union Square. Good spot to eat after a day of shopping and touring.
