I enjoyed this restaurant very much, but no reservation system unfortunately. We have to wait for a while outside the door. But still nice and recommendable.

We had lunch there one day while on a tour of San Francisco; we had heard from several people that we 'just had to eat here' so we did. All in all it was an OK experience; the ambience is good; the staff were very friendly and accommodating (even to the point of looking up the locale of various book... More

I go every time I visit SF (about 2-3 times a year) and generally am pleased. This time was for lunch and things seemed a tad off. I sat at the bar and ordered the pappardelle with a duck bolognese, a dish I've enjoyed several times in the past. The pasta tasted very fresh, as always, and perfectly cooked. But... More

I had just arrived in San Francisco and was hungry. I just wondered in Kuleto’s because I liked the looks and it was only a couple of blocks from the hotel. They have a Prix Fixe lunch that was very good. I had a very nicely done salad, salmon over veggies and a desert. The food took a while to... More

Great food and ambiance.....a bit noisy for a romantic evening out for two tho. Since this was our first time, we didn't know to ask for specific dining area...avoid the area where the kitchen is located....very heavy traffic and noisy at times. Ask for the main dining room next to the glass wall or even near the fireplace. One thing... More

Went to Kuletos since it was walking distance from my hotel. Service was good despite the waiter not remembering the specials. Food was average - not bad, but not memorable either. And they had only one vegetarian option for one of my guests. Not much else available in Union Square, so it served its purpose. Take a cab to a... More

Just had a stunning meal at Kuletos on our last night in San Fran. We sat at the counter overlooking the chefs at work as it was the only option left but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, no verbal exchange between them, each with their own task well in hand. I had the veal scallopini with spinach and my partner... More
