We read about this place on Time Out and were eager to give it a try. We weren't disappointed. Though I've eaten dim sum before I've never been to a specialist place like this and the choice and quality were excellent as was the service. Our advice to anybody going is don't feel rushed. The trollies come around all the... More

I went to Yank Sing as I am a dim sum lover and Ithaca good reviews in. Time out magazine. The choice and flavours didn't disappoint . the place was really busy but the only criticism is that the service could be a bit more friendly . Despite the last remark I would go back again just to try a... More

I had never been to a real dim sum restaurant and it was a cultural experience. The honey glazed sea bass was my favorite but really loved everything we had.

Went here late afternoon, most of the food on the carts was pretty cold and unexceptional. You can get this quality dim sum just about anywhere, price was outrageous for what you get. Do yourself a favor and go to Koi Palace in Daly City instead, it's worth the trip for truly fantastic dim sum.

We ate here shortly after arriving in SF from the Midwest. The whole experience made us feel that the trip had immediately been worthwhile. The food was excellent and the ambience very pleasant and upscale. The service was good but a little confusing if you didn't speak a Chinese dialect and had not been in this restaurant before. The ladies... More

Dim sum done right. We stopped in for lunch just before they closed. Could hardly get in our seats when she came by with a tray...the fried shrimp, fried crab claws, pot stickers, and some bun with soup in it were all delicious...prepare for a hit on your wallet, Chinese is no longer inexpensive, but every bite is worth it.

Huge array of dim sum. Everything tastes great- my favorites were the pork buns and soup dumplings. I like hot food, and it's as fresh and hot as you can get when it comes to you straight from the kitchen! Location is semi-hidden, save for one or two stray signs on the street. Make sure you try it!!

Went there for lunch. I was not that impressed. Perhaps I had too high expectations after reading the reviews on tripadvisor.

Interesting concept of serving food off of cart on small tables on the sloped terrace. Cannot say my favorite, although food fresh and tasty and seems fresh. Very busy with wait lines common. We were told the Rincon location is much more desireable and food is the same. This location is very hand, however. Return? Probably not. Recommend? Probably not.

This is the first time my wife and I have had the "Dim Sum" experience. We made reservations and arrived to be quickly seated. We looked over the menu and before we knew it, a cart was by to give us food. We fairly quickly figured out how it worked and began taking food and ordering as the carts passed.... More
