American classic Grill

This establishement on Geary in the heart of San San Francisco, is true american grill. Big portions, huge salads. Proper wine list from Californian wines. Location is good, prices are not the lowest ones.

Looked everywhere in Union Square to find a good place to eat that was not insanely expensive. The atmosphere is awesome. We had dinner one night (try the pot pie!) and breakfast the next morning. We did not leave hungry. And their Irish coffee - wow!

At various times during my visit I had breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, and cocktails. Every staff person I came in contact with - bartenders, wait staff, host staff, etc. was delightful. After the second time I came in, they made me feel like family. Every request was granted with ease. Great comfort food.

I llike the DC Daily Grill so I figured I would drop in. As a single diner, I eat at the bar. The bartender was charming but it did not make up for the fact that when my crab cakes arrived, the top was cool while the bottom burnt. When I pointed this out, no offer was made to replace... More

We were walking by and this restaurant pulled us in. The atmosphere was relaxing and not too loud. The structure & design was very unique. I had Trout and Asparagus and it was very good. I couldn't find a wine I liked (I was given a sample) but my colleague loved hers. Waiter was very hospitable and friendly - Billy... More

Part of a limited chain. Very consistent food. Glad to see they have some "under 600" selections now as their best dishes are pretty calorie heavy but good ...like the meat loaf and chicken pot pie

Group of friends, tired after a transatlantic flight and with our biological clicked totally out of sync, arrived there at about 6pm ready to collapse. We were welcomed and directed to a pre-set table that just happened to be there waiting for us! The waiter was a pleasant guy that showed interest in answering all our questions, and believe me... Although we dine at the Daily Grill often in and around LA, we found this particular one a bit more cozy, and friedlier than the others. Servers were more attentive, and the whole vibe was different. It was a really cold night so slow at first, but by 6:30 the var was full of laughing patrons and the restaurant was... More
