Daily Grill is located on Geary, near Powell, only a half-block from Union Square and in the center of San Francisco’s theatre district. Comfortable and clubby with booths and high ceilings, Daily Grill is a great place to take a break from the bustle of Union Square. The large menu and comfortable decor makes the Daily Grill a favorite stop before or after the theatre. Daily Grill is an updated version of the San Francisco grills of the past, providing generous portions of classic American dishes, such as steaks, chops, chicken pot pie, and meat loaf...a neat, friendly place where one can get crab cakes or a burger, Shrimp Louie or a T-Bone, along with martinis, single malts, microbrews and a good bottle of wine. The ambience is lively and clubby, with comfortable booths, dark woods and high ceilings.

Good Fish & Chips

The waiters are friendly and you'll get your food quite quick. As we went there it was crowded and a bittle noisy. But not that bad as the whole place is very casual and easygoing.

I believe this is the same place as the Daily Grille in DC. Still good! our table had a bunch of different things ordered. the crab cakes looked great, as did the pepper steak. i had the meatloaf, it was so amazing that everyone at the table were trying to eat it!!

Hearty breakfast with great old city vibe. Would be fun to try it for dinner. Not the most attentive staff but generous portions and it was fast.

Stayed in the hotel that neighbored this restaurant. We received breakfast vouchers for the daily grill, the food came out fast and was very nice. Perfect start to the day.

We went here for lunch. We were greeted by a well dressed guy and advised us that lunch would be in five minutes or so. No worries. We had a seat and waited. Another employee started walking towards us and started to say that lunch was in about five minutes as the first guy was telling her that he'd already... More

Hands down the best steak I've ever had, and the desert wasn't half bad. Service was also brilliant, would recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco.

We ate here every morning as part of our hotel deal. The food is good and service is quick. We had a voucher, with a limited menu and had to pay for any extras, which we were happy to do, but one waiter practically counted our tea bags!
