Fino is a small, quaint Italian restaurant in the heart of San Francisco. The food is old world Italian but with lovely modern Italian touches. I highly recommend. Reservations are important here, as the place is very popular and seating limited.

We visited on our first night in San Francisco suffering with really bad jet lag and we were warmly welcomed by Justin the amazing bar tender . He kept our glasses full and was very entertaining dispute the bar and restaurant being busy .we had some lovely minestrone soup and delicious bruschetta . The menu looked great but we were... More

My wife and I were basically staying above this restaurant, so we had to try it one night. Simply put, it was wonderful. We had amazing service and excellent food. This is the sort of restaurant I would be a regular at if I lived in the area.

Found this place on trip advisor and decided to check it out. I was on business travel and knew if be eating alone. Was able to sit at the bar, no wait, not too crowded... Bartender was attentive, but not too chatty. Received an entire plate of bread and olive oil sauce, even though I was solo. Ordered the tortellini... More

Recommended to us by our hotel (the Adagio a block away). The food was amazing especially the Zabaglione dessert. The service was great and when I left my iPhone behind they locked it away so it was there waiting for me when I popped in the following day. Lovely ambience and reasonably priced especially when you consider how close to... More

This is a small and consistently high quality restaurant in the St Andrews Hotel, close to Union Square--a great location. Four of us had a pre-theater dinner and even at the unfashionable hour of 6:00, the dining room was full. So make reservations! The salads at Fino are exceptional and big enough for two people to share. The pasta is... More

It is our first night in San Francisco and this italian was really close to our hotel so thought we would give it a go. We are so glad we did! The 2 pasta dishes we ordered were delicious but the creme brule was the icing on the cake! We had driven up from the beach and was not really... More

This restaurant was fabulous both my husband and I ordered off the special menu $34 each. But they had fettuccine for $ 14 ect. I have never tasted Italian food so good . It is hard to describe all the flavor in my scallop entree. The bread was good and the olive oil was mixed with balsamic and roasted garlic.... More

I was once again amazed by the authentic Italian dishes offered at Fino. My entree of rigatoni with scallops and shrimp in a white wine sauce with spinach was delicious. All around us patrons enjoyed different salads piled high with many different ingredients. Appetizers like calamari and the french fries tower looked amazing. Salmon is served many different ways. The... More
