Enjoyable meal

My wife and daughter would like to eat only the pyramid of tartare, a combination of guacamole and sashimi served with homemade potato chips. But I enjoyed the crunchy pork appetizer. The sushi was creative and very tasty.

Great atmosphere with tasty sushi. Not just plain sushi, but fun creative dishes with high quality fish. Definitely recommend!

Blowfish Sushi To Die For makes the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. I stress that may be because I’m a Londoner (and sushi during the week for me usually means nabbing some mass-made salmon on rice from the supermarket chiller cabinet). But there’s a fun and inventiveness to the Blowfish maki rolls that I’ve not seen anywhere else. And damn,... More

We braved the evening traffic congestion from Fremont to the Mission District of The City to enjoy this amazing Sushi Restaurant… and it was worth it! Phoned in a reservation for six while in driving to the place and they accomodated us. The waitress was second to none. She was friendly, helpful, & knowledgable. The Sushi Chefs provided a culinary... More

Had a family reunion in SF in August and ate at Blowfish with 20+ people. Blowfish did an awesome job and even family members not too hip on sushi thought it was great.

This is a seriously good restaurant despite coming off like a Hard Rock. At first glance the waitstaff may seem to belong in a Hooters rather than a serious sushi place but they know their stuff and are friendly and nice. Our waitress was really exceptional. Oh, and the sushi is sublime. As a resident of a land-locked locale I... More

This unassuming restaurant is a must for those looking for a new experience in Sushi dining. The menu is so varied and the combinations so different from the usual fare. It's sushi with a twist to die for..Make reservations..
