This corner shop has room for just 30 diners. As soon as a table becomes free it gets filled again. It is so popular. Be ready to wait your turn. The takeaway / carryout trade is also busy. Somehow they also deliver as well, but eating in means your foods gets to you seconds after it is cooked. The kitchen... More

Loved the friendliness and pizza to go with a great side salad w chick peas, salty olives and kidney beans. Inexpensive and fast service.

You probably have one like this in your city. A humble place serving good pizza and cheap wine. Good value, which can be hard to find in SF.

A place with a name like Uncle Vito's makes you wonder if there really is a Vito, and if he really is an uncle. I didn't ask, and it didn't matter. We tucked into a big antipasta, a meaty calzone and a pizza the size of a dart board, and washed it all down with a carafe of delightful Dago... More

After a long day of walking around San Francisco I came back to the hotel tired. I just wanted something delivered and not have to pay a fortune for it. So I search for a pizza place that would deliver to a hotel. I thought the reviews were okay for Uncle Vito's pizza;I wasn't expecting much. Delivery guy drops off... More

In all honesty, the best thing about Vito's is that it was just down the street from our hotel so it was perfect for an inexpensive, delicious takeaway meal. My son had a veggie pizza that was divine while I had an enormous Greek salad (Canadians beware, there was a lot of lettuce in that salad :) ). Pair those... More

Food was pleasant but it was pretty cramped and warm upstairs! Pretty sure they brought the pizza uncooked and the heat cooked it. Good pizza though!

We had a long day and read reviews on Trip Advisor about Uncle Vitos. We were on the last day of our vaca and just craved some pizza. Uncle Vito's was definitely the place. Now, all other reviews say poor service and this and that, but you have to remember that this is a place that also does delivery and... More

We had the chicken fettuccine and spaghetti and meatballs. Both were outstanding but the fettuccine was so good I'll never forget it. On a mother/son city adventure and he loved the place. You can see the cooks making pizza in the window and everything we saw others getting looked so good. Not fancy at all but value was great. Everything's... More

This is a pizza/pasta place two blocks from Union Square. Good food at a good price, with a friendly vibe. We ate there twice! Has beer and wine, and was recommended by local friends.
