Very busy, we were seated upstairs, which was quaint and crowded. Had pizza, which was to die for, so yummy!!

When traveling to San Francisco I usually stay at the Grand Hyatt on Stockton St. Uncle Vito's is a short walk from the hotel ... and well worth the trip. This is great pizza. Nothing fancy ... red sauce, generous toppings and a fantastic crust. Great comfort food when traveling!

Uncle Vito's was recommended to us by our hotel across the road. It is ideally located at the corner of Powell & Bush. We arrived fairly early, about 6pm, and were seated right away. By the time we left people were lined up outside waiting for a table, so you know it's good. Not a fancy place but ideal for... More

We make a point to go to Uncle Vito's when in San Francisco. Fresh ingredients. Salads fresh and delicious. The the Pizza. Cheese and fresh veggies on great thin crust. Friendly, quick, casual service keeps us coming back.

Super fast kitchen and very nice staff. Good menu with pizza as base but solid Italian dishes. Pitcher beers (good price for the city) as well. Definitely recommend for a casual meal.

My boyfriend and I were exhausted after a long day of traveling and our hotel (The Orchard) recommended Uncle Vito's across the street. Being from the East Coast I was skeptical about the pizza, but my fears were gone at first bite! I had a cheese pizza with fresh garlic and artichokes that was to die for. My boyfriend loved... More

All was good, so good we returned and it did not disapoint. The mountain pizza was in fact a mountain for 2 people but oh so good! Have had a little better in Rome but this was a pleasure. The second time had a pasta, linguine with clam sauce and was prepared to be disappointed. No such luck, it was... More

On recent visit to San Francisco we had dinner here on our first night and what a find-pasta and pizza were perfect. I had the special, chicken ravioli and my friend had the tia mia pizza both were a wonderful taste experience. Looking around everyone's plates looked yummy. Servings are generous and the pasta comes with garlic bread. We ended... More

In a city of $200 dinners for two, this is a welcoming site on the wallet and the palate. Delicious pizza, salad and a carafe of wine for two was only $35. Was busy both times we visited around 9 pm. Highly recommend.
