Very good Italian food, went twice, we both had meatball sandwiches once and pizza the next time. Very reasonably priced. Midway up Nob Hill.

Enjoyed the pizza, calzone and sautéed mushrooms with the kids. Perfectly located to White Swan Inn for our first night dinner after a flight from the east coast and an afternoon at fisherman's wharf.

Cozy friendly place in the financial district. We both had the pizza and enjoyed our selections. Very fresh and reasonable prices.

they were pretty busy when we got there and kind of short-staffed, but our experience still turned out good, we ordered some really good pizzas, i can't remember the names, for appetizer we ordered some fried ravioli i think, ummm it was yummy! service was good, this place is pretty small, but we would definitely return for some pizza.

Heard good things, but we are family of 5. They seated us upstairs when we could have been seated downstairs. Sat there for 15mins and no orders were taken. Went downstairs and found out they had forgotten we were there. Food may have been good, but we left. Not impressed at all. Note there were only two other families in... More

It doesn't look great from the outside and it's pretty small so we had to wait around 15 minutes for a table but it was a million percent worth the wait. The food was amazing, best pasta I've ever had and my boyfriend had a pizza which he said was very nice also. Very friendly staff. Only thing I would... More

Perfect NY pie delivered hot to hotel room within 30 minutes. They were courteous on the phone and at the door. I can't wait to try other dishes.

I was staying very close by and used this place twice in a week. Lazy I know but the place was always busy and after the first pizza I knew I had chanced on a great place. Quick, cheap, tasty enough - they have a small option which is just fine for a single (European) person. Lack of fish and... More

My wife and I split the Fettuccine Alfredo and a calzone. DELICIOUS. My wife literally inhaled her food. Off the beaten path of the touristy areas, but still just a few blocks from Union Square. A must eat if you're looking for local Italian.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
