We had seen the reviews and knew this place was good! It was the last thing we did in San Francisco before flying home, actually we were there 4 hours before our flight - and wow, it was worth leaving this place to the end! We lined up for about 35 mins, not bad, but it was close to their... more

After beying in line for 1h45 you expect the food to be superb. Well, it´s not. Good typical kinda greasy american breakfast. Waiters were very kind and helpfull, but by the time I gave one of them my credit card to pay for the check, things changed. They probably gave it back to some other customer by mistake and were... more

So if you have no time constraints whatsoever and want a good breakfast then go! It's yummy good old fashioned greasy spoon diner food. It's super tiny inside like 8 tables maybe? We waited an hour and ten minutes standing outside in the cold. I think the problem is you are also rushed to eat and get out of there... more

Everything was fresh and delicious here. The Chocolate French Toast was yummy as were the ginger & cinnamon pancakes. The bacon was a hit too, nice and thick. We got there early and on a weekday and were accommodated very quickly. So glad we made it, would definitely do again when visiting SFO. more

We arrived at 7.30 am and waited an hour for a table. Real local place to eat and great atmosphere. Food was nice but I wouldn't queue up, it was nothing special. more

My husband and decided to visit this place as it has such good reviews on tripadvisor, and we are glad we did. Be prepared to queue, we waited in line for about 30mins but it was worth every second. Food was fantastic and plentiful, and the staff were really friendly. more

A group of my friends and I were in the city this weekend and needed a place to go for brunch. Some of my friends had seen this cafe featured on Diners, Drives, and Dives, so we had to go. There was line out front that took us about a hour to get through, which we found out while there... more

So I first heard of Dotties while watching a television show and said to myself "next time I'm in San Fran why not check this place out" It was a short walk from our hotel, not exactly in the best of neighborhoods and you have to deal with the homeless scene of San Francisco a little bit. I highly reccomend... more

After seeing this place reviewed on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" my wife and I decided to go to this place while on our honeymoon. We went on a Thursday morning and there was a line. The place is cramped as they try to squeeze as many customers in as they can. I probably made the mistake of having simple eggs,... more
