We arrived at 7.30 am and waited an hour for a table. Real local place to eat and great atmosphere. Food was nice but I wouldn't queue up, it was nothing special. more

My husband and decided to visit this place as it has such good reviews on tripadvisor, and we are glad we did. Be prepared to queue, we waited in line for about 30mins but it was worth every second. Food was fantastic and plentiful, and the staff were really friendly. more

A group of my friends and I were in the city this weekend and needed a place to go for brunch. Some of my friends had seen this cafe featured on Diners, Drives, and Dives, so we had to go. There was line out front that took us about a hour to get through, which we found out while there... more

So I first heard of Dotties while watching a television show and said to myself "next time I'm in San Fran why not check this place out" It was a short walk from our hotel, not exactly in the best of neighborhoods and you have to deal with the homeless scene of San Francisco a little bit. I highly reccomend... more

After seeing this place reviewed on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" my wife and I decided to go to this place while on our honeymoon. We went on a Thursday morning and there was a line. The place is cramped as they try to squeeze as many customers in as they can. I probably made the mistake of having simple eggs,... more

When we had to queue for over an hour to get our breakfast here we wondered if any breakfast could be worth it...... it was! The bustling little cafe offered top-of-the-range home cooked breakfast and a fantastic atmosphere. Wish we lived close so we could pop in every Sunday morning! Tip - get there really early if you don't want... more

We got to the restaurant about 9am on a Friday, and we had our food in front of us in about an hour. (I can imagine weekends are much worse, and would stick to weekdays if possible.) The food was great. I ordered standard breakfast fare off the menu, and my traveling companion got one of the specials - both... more

After so many good review of Dotty’s on this web site we thought we’d see what the fuss was about. As always mentioned, the wait is very long and slow since the place is miniscule, but I will say at 45 minute wait in a sketchy neighborhood was a far trade for that fantastic meal. Everything was fresh, the staff... more

This place is tiny, ten tables total, nothing fancy at all just good food. Yes you will wait and hour plus if you are not there at 7:30am when it opens. The food is really good, I can't say it was the best I have ever tasted but definately unique and delicious. Plan your day and get there early. more
