This little GEM out in the Sunset district, right of the N Judah line is AMAZING! The best CRAB in the world! Get the Garlic Noodles and you will have everything you need. The SHAKEN BEEF is a must have as well. You will leave feeling very satidfied and delighted that you went!

Fortunately last evening we showed up early and Thanh Long did not have much of a waiting line then. It was spilling outside when we left however. We were seated within 10 min which was great. Minutes later our garlic noodles and roasted crab appeared on the table. A great dish to share, what was the most surprising is the... More

We are a group of managers and we have reached this restaurant without information only a lady on the beach suggeasted. I need to recognize that it's fantastic the roast crab with special spice was incredibly good. The ratio quality price is adequate for fresh crab the cost is about 40-50 $

If you like fine dining and don't mind eating with your hands then this is the place for you. Their specialities include roasted crab and garlic noodles. Yes, expensive but worth the price. Outstanding service and valet parking available.

After having had the Garlic Crab at Crustacean in Downtown San Francisco.... I was told that the "family" also owns the Thanh Long Restaurant on the west side of town and serves similar food....in a more "locals enviroment". Come to find out this was the orginal restaurant and Crustacean is their up scale restaurant group. The Garlic Crab was just... More

Yes, it is expensive, but the roasted crab and garlic noodles are wonderful. We tried a prawn appetizer, but I didn't care for it as they left the shells on before dipping in tempura batter and frying - not a fan of shrimp shells, but they were tasty otherwise. Service was excellent. We've come here for years, whenever we are... More

The crab and the garlic noodles are so delicious, and the shaken beef " Bo luc lac" is made of filet mignon that it melts in your mouth. This is the original restaurant until they open their sister restaurant the crustaceans. The parking is hard to find and its off the west of San Francisco, but it's worth it to... More

I have been eating at this landmark restaurant since 1989 famous for its roasted crab and garlic noodles. Their empire has grown to include the famed Crustaceans located in Beverly Hills among other places. There is something to be said about food being simple and fresh and clean. The place is always crowded so be ready to wait even with... More

We've been home two weeks and I am still craving the garlic noodles. Best prawns I have had in a long time. The rest of our group enjoyed their food too. Yes, it is a little pricey but the food is worth it.
