Decided on Tranh Long based on Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed! Appetizers were 2 orders of the crispy rice paper roll with chicken, one Budda roll (vegetarian and gluten free), and the mango salad. We had three roast crabs for 7 people, 2 orders of the famous garlic noodles, vegetables and rice- all finger licking good! The... More

I enjoyed Thanh Long restaurant! The food is savory and delicious and the service was great! The atmosphere is very casual and you will find locals as well as tourists eating there. You will not be disappointed in your meal.

The food is very straightforward but good. The roast crab is good. I stopped talking when I was eating. The garlic noodles didn't do it for me. I'd rather have a bowl of rice with my crab. There are options for non seafood people. Overall, its very pricey but like I said they've got it cornered. Not too many doing... More

Thanh Long is a must stop visit when in San Francisco. This was my second time visiting and again it did not disappoint. The first time all I had were the garlic noodles and crab and my family and I could not stop talking about it. So when we had the chance to go again for a graduation celebration we... More

Ate at Thanh Long in late February 2014. This was the first restaurant my family and I went to on our vacation to San Francisco. The food was very good. Ordered the garlic noodles which was more than enough for me (they give you a huge plate that everyone can share). My brother ordered the crab which was huge. It's... More

Much like the reviews here say, the Roast Crab + Garlic Noodles are a killer combo, and all you need. We also had the chocolate lava cake, which was a great way to end the meal.

I do like crab and basically ordered that and garlic noodles. This is the standard fare. We had lots of people so also ordered the shaken beef. I would recommend that too. A single crab for a person was too much for me to handle, but people do it. The going rate was quite pricey. This one's a hard one... More

My friends recommended this restaurant and we drove about 20-30mins to get there from downtown San Francisco. Also as recommended, we ordered roasted crabs and garlic noodles. We also ordered garlic rice and fried noodles with shrimps for the kids. The kids loved their food, even though the rice might be a little "spicy" for smaller kid. I tasted the... More

What else would you order here?! Roast grab and garlic noodles were delicious. Every table ordered the same thing. We were a party of 5 and ordered 3 roast crabs and 2 garlic noodles. We ordered 1 other dish to try but the crabs and noodles were star.
