Too Rich For Game Day!

This is I am sure a great restaurant. I was looking for a beer and a burger before a game. I had a beer and a tuna appetizer and hit the road. Way too high priced for pregame food! I went back a block and had a great burger and beer for a reasonable price in a less formal atmosphere.... read more

If you are going anytime during a baseball game, you will not get in without a long wait. We have learned there is no last minute decision to go here before a game. Reservations are a must. It is pricey. The location is fantastic. We love the patio and people watching.

Dinner before game. I know with such a great location next to game, it would be expensive but it was ridiculous. $20 for a burger. It was good but not that good. We are going to try something different next time. A kids menu would be nice instead of $14 for mac and cheese.

What's worse than going to a game at AT&T and paying ridiculously expensive prices for eats and drinks? Doing the same thing before you get beyond the gate! Mom's is crazy overpriced for what you get. Go elsewhere!

We finally got to eat at momo's this year before a Giants game. The service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was very good. My son was very impressed with his huevos rancheros and my croissant sandwich was delicious. Kinda pricey but will definitely go back.

Group of 6 for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals, 1 blackened salmon, two shrimp and crab salads, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza and a chicken pot pie. The margarita pizza came out cold and this problem was immediately corrected. The diner who ordered the pot pie would rather of had it in a pie crust than with a pie of puff... More

Obviously ballgame night so we went to Momo's for dinner first. We started with the Calamari ($18.00). I had the Burger with Bacon and Cambozola cheese ($22, for a burger, really?), and my friend had the Skirt Steak Salad with mixed greens, fuji apple, ginger slaw ($24, wow). We both had two martinis at $11.00 a pop. I also want... More

We walked from the pier to the baseball park and saw this establishment had a good size patio for us to rest and have an afternoon glass of wine before heading back to our hotel in Nob Hill. It is right across from the diamond and I would imagine it would get pretty busy before and after the baseball games.... More

Wandered into this place on our way to the game. Very nice service. We choose the grass fed hamburger. It was excellent. The French fries even better. It is high priced. Our burger and fries was almost twenty dollars. We had no problem getting in and the service was fast.

We had problems from the moment we walked in the door. There was no one at the front reception desk. We spent a few minutes waiting for someone to seat us with no success. I finally went into the bar and asked the bartender about getting a table. The bar was almost empty, and the bartender gave me attitude when... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
