The food was really good. It was standard fare for Buca di Beppo, if you've ever eaten at one before. It was very convenient to the Hotel Intercontinental across the street. We enjoyed the food and had leftovers for later!

This restaurant was suggested to us because of it's proximity to the Moscone conference centre and the good food. I would say that the food was AMAZING and so was the service. We sat in the basement and it felt like we were in someone's cozy rumpus room. It is very kitchy in it's decor. The service was excellent. Food... More

BUCCA DE BEPPO is a purely Italian experience. Its located in downtown San Fran next to the Moscone WEST Convention Centre. We were 20 of us with a exclusive area and a set menu. However everything was genuinely Italian. The people serving us were of course Americans. Good service from Bryan and Flavia. Great Italian food....very good quality, the apple... More

This was the second time I took a friends from my martial arts school and was not disappointed. Reservations were a breeze and they called to verify the reservation.Food was good as usual and we tried a few new one's. Gratuity system has been changed. They now, do not automatically add for large parties and you now tip accordingly to... More

We came with friends for the family dining style... For a big group it works. Ordered the smaller portions to try different dishes out. We were disappointed with the food service. One pepperoni pizza, meat lasagna and two pasta dishes. Literally waited over 50 minutes for dishes to be served. For a chain this shouldn't happened anymore - they should... More

Glacially slow service, distinctly average food. The only thing vaguely authentically italian is the name. Which is also appropriate because Buca means hole. Which this most assuredly is. Portions are too big, the mozzarella tasted like a kind of jellied plastic. I have now been to Buca di Beppo once. There will not be a second time. It is cheesy... More

We went here for a late night snack while staying at the Intercontinental directly across the street. Service was speedy & mainly very efficient, although would have liked the opportunity to order more drinks. The small pizzas we ordered were plenty big enough for 2 to share, trust me. I found them to be extremely tasty & authentic. The place... More

Fun atmosphere and fantastic service. The waiter helped us decide what to get, and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the place so much, we stuck around to have several drinks. They have the best lemon-cello I've ever had. We had to revisit the bar on another evening for a few more of them.

They do everything well here, pretty much a standard menu. I had a braised rib that was very good, a little to heavy on the reduction but very tender and tasty. The pasta was good, not great.
