Kitschy Americanized Italian not even close to real Italian cuisine. Too much cheese and no taste. Good service but nothing more.

We really enjoyed Calzone's. The food was delicious and the décor reminded us of our trip to Italy. The specialty drinks were excellent. There are many places to choose from in the Little Italy section of SF but this one is excellent.

My husband and I visited calzones while on honeymoon in san Francisco last summer. We both love Italian food and weren't disappointed by our visit to Calzones in the Italian district. The food was delicious and the décor really added to the experience!!! there are so many Italians to choose from in this part of the city as you can... More

Unbelievably amazing! Best Alfredo I've ever had! Quite small portions and a little expensive, but in my opinion definitely worth it!

This is a true gem in Little Italy in San Francisco. It's accessable by trolley. The service, food quality and wine offerings are excellent. The pasta dish w/beef & pork ragou we shared was home made and cooked perfectly. My wife who is Italian and makes all her own pasta ranked the pasta at Calzone's as good as her mothers... More

This place has cute tile tables outside which appealed to me and I went with a friend ostensibly for something light! the bread and the olive oil that arrived on being seated was really good as was the glass of proseco that came well chilled. My friend had the steak burger with fries which he said was really good. I... More

This restaurant is aptly named! We had the bread with herbs and mozzarella....delicious! We shared a filet Calzone - delicious! I typically do not like Calzones, but this place changed my mind. The pastry was so light and fluffy and not too thick at all. The Calzone was perfect and so was our dessert!

We enjoyed a delicious pizza and tiramisu. Possibly a little overpriced, but no too much because the food quality was very good.

Calzones had a great drink " French lemonade". Great ravioli, which they accommodated an alternate creamy tomato sauce! Chicken fettuccine Alfredo accented with spinach was glorious. Very affordable and casual San Fran atmosphere.

Great place for authentic italian food in San Francisco, we enjoyed it a lot. Very attentive service, high food quality - we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the busy street.
