Family style dining at it's best. The food was good and the servers were very accommodating. The restaurant is cozy and the atmosphere is very inviting. Good for families and large groups.

My parents used to go to Capps's Corner so when we were going to see Beach Blanket Babylon we decided to go there. Before the show it was too crowded to get into but after the show it was a perfect place for a night capp. Love the feel and powerful drinks!

Capp's corner has been around "forever." They are just a few steps from the Beach Blanket Babylon venue. They serve good salad and minestrone soup which are included with your hearty Italian meal. Our group dined on mussels with fettuccine, veal tortellini in a wine cream sauce, and ravioli with meat sauce. Everyone said their meal was good! Reservations are... More

Love the family style dining at Capp's. Soup, salad and bread are included with every meal, and all are tasty. Entrees and pasta are delicious and come in very generous portions. We tried and loved the sole, calamari pasta, mussels, spaghetti with meatballs, and eggplant.

Went last night prior to seeing Beach Blanket Babylon. Nothing fancy, just solid neighborhood restaurant with simple well prepared and reasonably priced Italian fare. We had a great time, fast, friendly service and environment. Dishes a bit heavy on the garlic (a plus for us) and simply and well prepared. It was easy to tell, many locals and repeat customers... Everyone was very friendly however the pasta was not good at all. May son's fettuccine Alfredo was almost inedible! That's hard to do. My pasta was plain with chopped tomatoes and garlic and garlic was so strong yet the pasta and sauce so bland I kept adding salt-and-pepper trying to make it edible. Basically just not a good meal we... More

This restaurant in not far from Fisherman's Wharf and just up the street from a great Italian Grocery and Gelato place. Nice atmosphere, family style eating, but very bland...even for my spice challenged stomach. The sole I had was tasteless and pasty, maybe it has been frozen too long. Ate better for less at an upscale restaurant out by the... More

Whether you are there with 2 people or a large group, the excellent minestrone soup and salad are served family style as great appetizers. I ordered a delicious dinner or sea bass with pasta. Everyone else's dinners also looked extremely appetizing.

We had an ok meal. Soup and salad were both good and served family style. My veal was deep fried and then bathed in melted butter, not great. Service as fine but our waiter was not exactly mr smiles.

We found this place on our 3rd night stay in SF having eaten chinese in Chinatown, seafood on fisherman's wharf and wanted something traditional Italian for our last evening. Originally we only intended to have a drink there as we had researched Trip Advisor for recommends and was going to eat at another place around the corner. However once we... More
