Service was great and the food lovely!

We enjoyed this restaurant. It is a favourite for locals working in the business district. It is unpretentious and good value for money. We had a lovely lunch. It is popular for after work drinks too.

Friday night of the Superball event we got a nice table in an overcrowded restaurant tty thanks to the Open Table reservation, and promptly received our drinks, soup and salad... After that was a 30 min long pause with apologize every 5 min. The main dishes came free as a treat from the manager b/c of a long wait. It... More

Food was good. Service was extremely slow. Bathrooms were filthy. The men's room, the place where customers and kitchen staff washed their hands, was filthy. There was a wet roll of paper towels on the counter top for drying. On the floor next to the urinals was huge globs of spit. It's impossible to enjoy your meal after walking into... More

This place was open Christmas Day evening, which makes it a rare spot in downtown SF. It also has an odd entrance. While the street number is visible over a door, the door was locked. We had to go around the building to a courtyard. If it weren't for seeing someone on the street and asking, I'm not sure we... More

The menu here should have tipped me off, as it offered farily standard fare with no creativity. Chicken an burger were okay but nothing memorable. Will likely not go back, as there are too many good options in San Fran.

Eight of us went there one night recently… All dishes we ordered were very good. The service was prompt. The environment was pleasant. Nice place to meet friends.

Met up with some family who recommended this place... The service is good, the menu is good, but for thin crust pizza... It didn't hit the spot for me. It wasn't bad but it was trying to be a little too artisan.

The service was very slow . Had to stop the waitress when we needed anything. Had to get a different waiter to get the bill. Food was average , and a little on the pricey side. I wouldn't go back there

Good food, relaxing atmosphere. Great view of Bay Bridge. There really was nothing we disliked. Would definitely go there again.

A few colleagues and I met a prospective client at Palomino in San Francisco in Aug-2015. We made a reservation through OpenTable and arrived almost 30 minutes prior to our reservation. No worries, our table was ready and we were seated immediately. I ordered a Palomino Old Fashioned, and the waiter was very honest with me and suggested the regular... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
