If you like Italian, this is the place for you. Food and staff are excellent.Prices are reasonable for SF. Will return for sure!
We had a very late night dinner at Ristorante Umbria near our hotel in downtown San Francisco. Since it was a spur of the moment decision, I wasn't expecting much. But the place was still quite busy, it smelled great and felt cozy as soon as we walked in. We only had the individual sized pizza's, each person a different... More
Handy to the hotel, so took a chance. Caesar's salad was average, and the Margurita (spelling??? ) was pretty good. Plenty of cheese. If you are expecting the taste of a Pizza Hut product, you would be disappointed, but it was like the same in Italy. The Chocolate Gelato was outstanding!
First off, I have to say that the food I had was actually quite delicious. But the experience a friend of mine had with the owner was unbelievable. Something I don't think any of us have ever experienced. My friend ordered a salad and found a piece of metal sticking out of one of the shrimp as she was about... More
We were looking for an Italian restaurant after a long day of site seeing near our hotel. This really fit the bill. The restaurant was a quick walk from our hotel on Market street. The food and service were good. My son had the pasta which was quite good, my salmon was cooked the way I requested. My husbands veal... More
I enjoy the ravioli. It changes every week, so it is always a surprise. I also like Tiramisu and spumoni. The owner is a charmer, and attentive to his customers
Typical Italian food, fairly small place, prices were average but the restaurant was too loud to have a conversation. You can do better.
The staff were so attentive and warm at this charming Italian restaurant! The food was outstanding! I always gauge my Italian restaurant experience on their gnocci dish! They did not disappoint!! It was just like my mother used to make! The food was tasty and plentiful in such a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere!!!
Walked from westin hotel market street. Very quick walk. Great thin crust pizza. Hot & expertly prepared. Its so large we shared one pizza. Yummy!!!
This is a small italian resturant that serves great food in a very casual atmosphere. Many who attend the Giants game stop for dinner afterwards. We snuck in before the crowd. We has a pizza and bowl of pasta with meatballs. Service is fast, but good.
