We had reservations but we had to wait longer than we should have. The service was decent but the wait staff were not very friendly. I thought some of the food was excellent and some not so great and overpriced. I suggest if you do go have a drink at the bar and order appetizers.

We were staying at the Hotel Palomar and looked at the dinner menu but we ended up ordering off of the bar menu. It was a great idea. The food was fantastic. It was definitely not your typical bar food. A great meal and a pleasant surprise. LaShelle provided exceptional service.

Our expectations we're initially dashed upon arrival: a bit too hip, way too dark, nothing in the way of a view, and a marginal table near a busy door. But the food! One of our better, more memorable meals ever! Every bite a total senses, well, sensation!

What an amazing evening; great ambiance, great food, and exceptional service. We dined here for our 39th anniversary and I had so informed the restaurant via our open table reservation. When we arrived we were seated at the best table in the house and given complimentary glasses of champagne. The menu contained an acknowledgement of our anniversary. The server, Langdon,... More

My partner and I recently dined here to celebrate our anniversary. We let the restaurant know that is was a special day for us so they comped our first drink before dinner - that was nice of them. The reason I give this rating is because of our overall dining experience. We ordered two cold starters and two warm starters... More

On our first night we were looking for an early dinner because we knew we would still be on East Coast time. Fifth Floor proved an excellent choice, Creative cuisine, attentive service, and a pleasant ambience all made our 2 hours there very enjoyable. Lamb, black cod, and duck entrees were enjoyed by our guests and all commented favorably.

Food was not that good. Menu was difficult to decider and in the end the flavour failed to live up to the hype.

Stayed at the hotel and ate breakfast here. Breakfast was fine, average for hotel dining. As we were leaving on an late night flight we tried to have dinner in the lounge at 5:00 PM off the lounge dinner menu, burgers and such. We were told no food till 5:30 PM. Really this is a hotel with a 24 hour... More

Have eaten there many times, the food is amazing, the wine list is impressive and the service is sincere. Very elegant and cozy atmosphere. I love it. The sommelier Jose Maria is full of good advice and he clearly enjoys his job, great reccomendations.
