A real american sports bar.

The bar is closed to Union Square. The interior is totally dedicated to baseball history and San Francisco Giants. The service is good. You should try their Irish Coffee.

Average restaurant for a fast lunch in the heart of San Francisco. Reasonable prices and fast service. A wide range of dishes. Friendly atmosphere. A little noisy but does not bother much.

Enjoyed two trips to Union Square this past February and March and ate and drank at Lefty O'Doules each time. Enjoyed a great draught beer selection, Moscow Mules and Corned Beef, Pastrami, and Reuben Sandwiches. Enjoy table waitress service, or eat and drink at the bar with great bartenders and nice management.

Lovely spot for spirits and to hear a piano man or woman play. It takes you back to a si,per place and time.

It's interesting to have breakfast in a pub with great music. The experience was OK! The service and the food were nothing special... Actually, the egg was poor. And they are cleaning and preparing the house for lunch and happy hour during breakfast - people carrying boxes and organizing the bar while you eat.

Hard work this holidaying. After a morning flying around San Francisco on the trolley-cars we just wanted a light bite. Lefty O'Doul's looked a likely place. We both ordered a beef sandwich and were astonished at the size of the thing. The meat in mine (perfectly cooked) would have fed a family with peas and potatoes! And it tasted great!... More

After being compelled to write my first trip advisor review for a bar nearby after a poor experience. I'd just like to say this little gem saved the night. Good interactive atmosphere with staff and patrons, bar tenders knowledgable and have some great local recommendations. Sit by the piano if you can, if they don't know your favourite song they... We were staying round the corner and fancied a quick nightcap on our way home. It was fine. Service was lovely.

The bar felt like an old shoe.....worn, comfortable, familiar. It's big with long tables in the back room that can be shared with other fans. It seemed like a gathering place for friends and even families from all over the city. Food is served cafeteria style (you get a tray and go down the line even for snack food) and... More
