I'm a sucker for local wine bars, and First Crush fit the bill perfectly for dinner and some flights of wine on a recent business trip to San Francisco. The space is small and a bit cramped, which also means it gets quite noisy when full. That aside, everything from the menu options, to the wine flights, to the food,... More

This small restaurant has great food and service. The wine list was more than adequate. Being so small, the restaurant is pretty quiet. Our server was very attentive. We each ate a different meal (3 of us) and all enjoyed our selection. Would definitely recommend and go back next time we are in San Francisco.

This place was awesome. The soups and salads were to die for. I had the kale salad, some soup and a white wine flight. They have very fun wine flights - something for everyone.

This was a great little hole in the wall restaurant. It was very fun and lots of great wine options. We really enjoyed the small plates.

Just happened by this place, but food was excellent and service just right. Wish we had come back for dinner the second night! But decided after terrible dinner elsewhere to come back for dessert. Not disappointed.

i came here one evening before Christmas with friends. We had to wait for 1 hour just to get served. The head waitress told us off for just sitting there until we told her that we were waiting to order but no one had served us! 3 of the group took the menu 4 courses and 4 different wines to... This intimate restaurant is conveniently located near Union Square. The dinner was wonderful (I love the food and wine pairing). The service and ambiance were both delightful. I will definitely go back again.

I've been here several times for drinks and appetizers, because of it's location. I ate lunch there with a friend because I had a Groupon, and I was underwhelmed. With so many other options for a decent meal around the area, I will stick to just having drinks here.
