As we walked down from our restaurant looking for a late night spot for a drink, and some food, as we had just arrived in San Fran. We came across this little place on the corner. Looked good, and the menu also looked. We were seated immediately, and our server was on us with sparkling water. I have never seen... More

Restaurant has recently started with brunch and it's amazing. Portions are solid and Bloody Mary is awesome. Eat most awesome apple scrambled eggs and coconut pancakes, delicious! Will definitely return and so should you!

We had tickets for "Once" at the Curran and wanted a restaurant close by. First Crush is a great find for the future and we will recommend to theatre-going friends. The menu is very eclectic - with fun small plates that are perfect for sharing. Excellent wine menu and the server was very helpful in selections - how many small... More

A last minute choice for a late dinner. They took us right in and due to the time (9:30pm), we shared a few things (amazing fries, steak, and salad). The meal was excellent and so was the staff. The tasting flight of the wine was less than impressive (Meritage and Pinot) but if they stepped those up, I'd give it... More

Great location in the shopping area of San Francisco. Service was good but not as friendly of some of the other restaurants we visited. Food was really good.

The drinks were fantastic. I had something called "The Last Word" - Hendricks Gin, green chartrseuse, an apparatif that apparently only two monks in the world know the recipe (at least that's what the bartender told me), fresh lime juice, and luxardo marachino liqueur. It was exquisite. I had a beet salad, with arugula, goat cheese, and tangerines, and then... More

The menu does not do this restaurant justice. Upon reading it, you may feel that you've seen this before. That this place is no different than so many contemporary American cuisine. I have to say, you would be wrong. I was so amazed at the difference between my expectations based on the menu and the quality of the food coming... More

Disappointing. Decided to eat here before a show because it was written up as one of the best restaurants near the Curran & its website has a review saying it has "One of the most innovative and fun wine programs in the city." Disagree with both of those claims! We were seated in the downstairs section, which is small with... More

Visited in June 2015. Travelzoo Certificate cost $55 for $107.00 dinner for two. Restaurant was full at our 6:30 pm dinner time. Our table was ready in time.
