Great selection of fresh oysters, great views of Bay bridge! Pork Belly sliders are the real deal. A must do if in San Fran and you like oysters!

I am conflicted about whether to give this restaurant 3 or 4 stars--some of the food that we had only rated a 3 and this was a ridiculously expensive lunch considering what we ordered, but it was still a very enjoyable experience because we were sitting outside on a perfect day with a great view. This lunch was on our... More

We ended up here for lunch on a tip, and if that tip was on a horse, I'd be rolling in the dough. This place is superb. The food is wonderfully fresh and well prepared. The oysters where the best I've ever eaten and the chowder equally as good. And the service is just as good as well. Here's a... More

On a recent business trip. I had lunch here and was completely blown away. Sitting outside was a great bonus to the excellent chowder and awesome grilled cheese. Both of these were recommendations from out waitress and we were not disappointed.

Stopped in while wandering around the ferry building late lunch time. Could have gotten in the Slanted Door but didn't want much and didn't want to spend that much money. Had a bowl of chowder and a beer. Very good! Excellent service. The bread was really good and not sour. The chowder was full of clams ($14). We sat outside... More

I enjoyed a very late lunch here mid-week. The oyster "po'boy" was a little different than I expected - the oysters were breaded and fried - but good. Fries were also good, as were the fresh oysters. I thought the white wine 'on tap' was excellent and a good value as well.

Came here for late breakfast (place opens at 11, queue started good 30min earlier) before my flight home. Dozen oysters (mixed selection) and clam chowder were fantastic. Bloody Mary was not my taste - too much going on with flavors there. Some of the oysters were among the best I've ever eaten, none were less than very good. Sat at... More

But only if you Love Oyster's, this is a must on your next trip to San Francisco, the driving to Tamales Bay is very scenic on the freeway 1; and is a couple of little towns to shop antiques, at the farm don't expect a restaurant, is just open bench tables a side of the road and the farm that's... An extremely nice and extremely busy, but very efficient place. I had a selection of 12 oysters (Oyster bar mix) and a dungeness crab, and it was absolutely delicious as well as beautifully presented. Highly recommendable!!
