Valentines Day Dinner

The restaurant has really nice decor and the staff was very friendly. The place was lit well enough and they had a DJ there for the evening that played old R&B music for dinner. We ate at a table in the bar area and had a very enjoyable time. I had 2 different sushi rolls and my wife had steak.... read more

Wonderful sushi on a large scale; this is a very big place but it's not crazy large as it's several rooms. Everything is excellant quality and prepared well. It's medium high priced but a great place to take out of towners. All the food we had was outstanding.

You could tolerate average food but being ignored at the table for over 15" no way. After sitting there without being even served water My wife and I simply stood up and walked away. Terrible attitude and service.

We always visit it when we are in town. Excellent shusi, cool place, bit noisy though. Fully recommended for a nice evening with friends/colleagues!

The sushi was really very good, but it was crowded and noisy (on a weeknight around 7:30 - seemed mostly to be an after-work crowd at that time). I ate the bar because that was the only place with room, but there was a DJ only a few feet away, in addition to a large crowd, so it was extremely... More

This restaurant was chosen by a local Bay Area resident who was already familiar with this location as a top-rated place for excellent sushi and sashimi. Not suprisingly, the place was really busy during a week in which most SF restaurants were packed due to a large business meeting being held in the center of downtown SF. We ordered an... More

This was recommended by a couple of people and the food was gorgeous, and very easy to order several plates to share before deciding on how many more you can manage. The sake sampler was a good choice for my husband, as it comprised of 3 decent sized sake choices for $18. As with most decent SF restaurants, you absolutely... More

Although pricey (but in SF, what's not?) the food was good, and the service was very good. Atmosphere was less than ideal; lots of tourists and a family next to us with screaming kids (parents - what up?). Menu is extensive. There are many great restaurants in SF, so will look for another next trip.

This is a very high end restaurant that specializes in sushi and saki. Our waiter offered to order for our party of 3, and recommended several dishes. Most were excellent, the best being the raw fish type dishes and the rolls. We had two rolls, one with snow crab and one with shrimp that were both outstanding. Our sushi assortment... More

This place has a great menu, drinks and dessert. We went here on our last night in San Francisco. Upon entering, the place has a cool vibe. As we were shown to our table, in the back, every employee greeted and welcomed us in both English and Japanese. Our waiter, Mike (ask for him if you get a chance) was... More
