This was the best sushi I've ever had and one of the best meals I've ever had. Granted I'm not a sushi connoisseur but others in my group would have a much better knowledge than myself and they all agreed. We arrived into the city late and got to the restaurant just as the kitchen were closing but the staff... More

My second time here and it was even better. The fish was outstanding, the service even better. Started with misso soup then some appetizer sashimi then some nigiri. Their Kampachi was outstanding. Aji was great. They had all the good stuff that you cannot find in most regular sushi restaurants. A bit pricey but we'll worth it.

meat on a stick? YES PLEASE!!! All of the food here is good, but the appetizer meats that are "on a stick" are to die for.

This is my third time at Ozumo and I was not disappointed. We had a feast of appetizers, sashimi and sushi. I have eaten sushi all over the world and outside of Japan, this is the best sushi I have had. Better than Nobu, Blue Ribbon, Yo, Katsuya, Ichimura. But dont take my word for it. Sushi is indeed in... More

Enjoyed dinner at Ozumo. Some extremely good choices (fresh sushi, edamami) and some so so. Nice Sake list. Great bar with a trendy vibe.

Our waitress spilled the miso soup on my lap (thankfully it landed closer to my knee) to start the meal off. But, life happens (it's all part of the experience as my wife will say). Everything thing else about the dinner was terrific. It always is. I've been to Ozumo a dozen+ times and have always had a great time.... More

A colleague took me here and I was not disappointed. Certainly there are places to get cheaper Japanese food in San Francisco but its a very fine place indeed and I really enjoyed it. Definitely a new favorite is San Francisco !

Came for a birthday dinner this year. The restaurant has great views, ambience ( quiet in back, frothy at the bar), excellent waitstaff, and superb food. Our waiter, a fun and sophisticated woman, guided us well and showed us the price on our $40 sake bottle before ordering it (in contrast to another reviewer who had a $500 sake bill... More

We sat at the bar for about an hour before dinner. Great happy hour prices and service. Dinner was excellent with many daily fresh sushi specials and great service. Probably the best all around sushi I have had in San Francisco.

Great food choices in the lounge. We had the garlic soy edamame, chicken katsu, ribs and the sushi rolls offered on the happy hour menu. We enjoyed the spicy tuna, California roll, and the ugani roll. They had Kirin and Saporro on draft.
