Not much to say except that I was amazed by the quality of food and the venue itself. Super-cool place, great for business as well as for any romantic date... Open kitchen and freshness in every plate. Service: a bit too present on the table... I like to be looked after but having the waiter checking on you every 5... More

Stopped in here for a small bite for lunch. Had Miso soup and the Sekiwake roll and it was great! Service was excellent. Sushi was great! The amazing thing was the iced green tea. I admit I never really had it before but it was amazing!!!! I had several glasses. The problem is when I got back home I have... More

I've just had one of the best, if not THE best meal of my life! Visited Ozumo as part of a business meal and we opted for the tasting menu. We were served with green tea & Sake whilst waiting for the convoy of food to arrive and sure enough it did, one glorious fresh dish after another. We had... More

This venue was recommended from our hotel concierge. Arriving at about 4:00p we had access to a sweet happy hour menu and dinner starts around 5p. Sitting at the bar for happy hour was cool. Nice atmosphere, high energy (read: loud) and overall a very cool place. I wasn't disappointed from anything on either the happy hour menu or the... More

Pros: Well staffed VERY polite staff Functional floor plan Great views Con: Chairs slide around on smooth tile too easily. We stumbled across Ozumo on a recent trip to SFO. The service was impressive and efficient, the perfect mix of no hurry and well timed checks at the table for our dining needs or extras. The sushi was excellent, tempura... More

The restaurant has really nice decor and the staff was very friendly. The place was lit well enough and they had a DJ there for the evening that played old R&B music for dinner. We ate at a table in the bar area and had a very enjoyable time. I had 2 different sushi rolls and my wife had steak.... More

Wonderful sushi on a large scale; this is a very big place but it's not crazy large as it's several rooms. Everything is excellant quality and prepared well. It's medium high priced but a great place to take out of towners. All the food we had was outstanding.

You could tolerate average food but being ignored at the table for over 15" no way. After sitting there without being even served water My wife and I simply stood up and walked away. Terrible attitude and service.

We always visit it when we are in town. Excellent shusi, cool place, bit noisy though. Fully recommended for a nice evening with friends/colleagues!

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
