I went there with my girlfriend without a reservation but they were happy to sit us at the sushi bar. The place has a nice amibance and is not so loud you can't chat but not quiet either. We had several dishes all well presented and of generous portions. Yes it is expensive but it is good quality and one... More

I have eaten at Ozumo for work and decided to take my wide there for dinner. The food was fine but the service was poor at best. Our waiter forgot one of our dishes and never apologized. When paying the amount we paid for dinner, I would have expected a waiter to actually serve our table and not choosing to... More

good creative sushi and well stocked bar! but it's a bit expensive. so i'll usually have one good sushi dish a wine or cocktail and that's it. I tend to sit at the bar (i'm there for work and stay at the hotel next to it often) and the bar staff is friendly and engaging. I definitely recommend.

My husband and I decided to try Ozumo after reading good reviews from various sources. It's a bit far away from the hustle and bustle of Union Square but overall I'd say it was worth it. We showed up at 6:00pm with no reservation but were seated promptly. Service was wonderful and food was delicious. A bit more expensive than we're... More

awesome place near Embarcadero. Top quality japanese food (a bit expensive - went dinner with a friend and spent U$ 100 each). Apart from the food there is a Sake combo that comes with 3 different sakes (amazing!!!) - you can select your sakes according more balanced, more earth, more...ambience is also great, so surely recommend a visit.

I didn't expect to have such a great restaurant just downstairs in our hotel. We tried many different cocktails- all were delicious and sophisticated. The food was very fresh and light- again some interesting combinations but due to too many cocktails I don't remember what we exactly had ;) Service was very attentive and professional.

We only ate raw fish. Quality of food was excellent and tasted really good! Be sure to try the Dohyo. We didn't eat very much, but the bill was rather high. Be prepared to pay a lot of money for really good food. We would say overpriced by 15-20 percent.

I visited Ozumo with co-workers for a late meal and we were not disappointed. The service, quality and presentation of the food and variety were excellent as was the choice of Saki to accompany our meal. Highly recommend it.

My coworkers and I had dinner here. We had a variety of their dishes. The garlic edamame is to die for! So good and all the other food was delicious. Service was awesome too! I would definitely go back.

Very good fresh sushi. Scallop sushi was incredible. Creative selection of rolls. Great waitress as well, she made us a beef tartare appetizer at the table that was very good.
