We visited the location at the SF Airport. Never have been to the others, so can't compare to other locations. We had the Fish&Chips, and a BYO Omlet. Both were just OK, and certainly not worth the price we paid. Service was poor. I'm not sure our server spoke English, and never checked back with us to see how we... More

I like this chain and was excited to see it in the airport on a layover. Sadly, the airport Gordon doesn't measure up to other locations. From start to finish, it was an expensive suck-fest. I'll still visit other locations, but I'll never do an airport Gordon again.

I liked that the restaurant had a nice outside dining area. The ambiance was nice. But the food was only medium. I ordered calamari-which was good. But the steak salad was bland and the steak itself had a lot of big chuncks of fat. It was very unappetizing.

We went by Gordon Biersch today not knowing they had closed. Was really looking forward to sitting outside and have a nice cold beer. Really bummed there gone. We went to Palomino instead. I asked the waiter if he knew what happened to GB. He said he worked there up to the day they closed. The landlord wanted to increase... More

One of the best breweries in California. they change their beer to co-inside with the season. The owner and brewmaster has studied in Germany....They know how to make beer......check it out , the food is superb and the selections are many..

We went to an event here, so my review is not so much for the restaurant service, but the event or catering side. The food was set out in different stations, which was helpful in avoiding crushes of people at one spot. But it was like going to a Super Bowl party. Meat on a stick (shrimp or chicken), pizzas,... We stopped here for an afternoon meal at the urging of our private tour guide and were not disappointed. The restaurant is attached to the brewery and located across the street from the bay part way between Fisherman's Wharf and AT&T Park where the Giants play. The fare is just American food but it is well done and presented in... More

After seeing a late afternoon show in SF, my companion and I went to Gordon Biersch for dinner. Gordon Biersch makes a wide range of excellent beers and somewhat surprisingly has remarkably good - what I would call "pub food". This visit did not disappoint. I ordered the grilled chicken salad from the appetizer section and my companion ordered the... More

Went last week with my immediate family. Everyone ordered someting different and it was all good. Specializes in upscale "pub food" but has very nice dishes also. Server was odd but friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Of course the beer is awesome, but they have a full bar as well. The downstairs area is very loud but is good... More

We met Gordon 15 years ago. He learned to brew beer in Munich/Germany. I am German and I know what good beer is. He brews excellent beer. 6 to 8 different kinds, which are all great. Our favorite beer is the Winterbock and the Maibock, what is seasonal beer. Heavy, tasty, good. But his lighter beer like the summerfest is... More
