It's Morton's and you get exactly what you pay for. Delicious steaks, great sides and good service. Exactly what one would expect from Morton's. That's why we went!

If you find yourself at or near Union Square and hunker for a high quality steak, prime rib or lobster...there is only one choice and that's Morton's on Post St. located beside the St Francis Hotel. Morton's is fine dining at it's best and they aim to please you in every way. Their not cheap but the beef, sides and... More

If you want a really good steak in San Francisco, then I doubt that you are going to get better than a Morton's steak. It is on the pricier side, but for a special occasion, the ambiance and professional service are unlikely to be beaten. The menu has lots more than steak, with a very impressive dessert menu (I just... More

Had one of the best meals here. No, it isn't cheap, but if you have the money to spend, it is totally worth it. We had the oysters to start, which were very good. My two stand-outs though are the crab legs (some of the best I've ever had), and the raspberry souffle (my all time favorite dessert). Very happening... More

The outside was average but we noted 'steakhouse' and fancied one. Our hotel was in Union Sq so Morton's was easy reach. The table hostess was very sweet and explained that whilst no table was available immediately if we had a drink at the bar she could get us a table in the restaurant in 30 mins, so we waited.... This was my second time eating at Morton's. My last experience was okay but this time was substantially better. Previous: - Steak undercooked from what I requested This time: - Waiters describe the steak in detail (i.e pink middle versus red middle) - each time I finished my drink someone was there to request if I needed a refill -... Now this is the place for business meetings. Even though most colleagues prefer the diners (Lori's, Cafe Mason, Pinecrest, etc)... i prefer this place. of course my work won't really vouch for this amazing place. they literally gave us a list to dine.

Delicious Steak if you don't mind paying minimum of $50 bucks for steak only! No sides included. Service was top notch. Sides was nothing to write home about. Shrimp dish was just okay.

Did you know that if you go between opening and about 6PM, the appetizers are discounted to roughly half price? Or that they're about the size of an entree at a regular restaurant? In downtown SF, you can spend $8/head at a Chipotle, or you can eat HERE. Filet mignon sandwiches (3 mini), or a trio of sliders, or truffle... More

The food was excellent but overpriced. We went there for dinner with our teenager son attracted by the hamburger photo at the door. When I asked the waiter why the burger was not in the menu I was told that this was only available at the bar. In a similar restaurant I would have expected the offer to order this... More
