Dined here July 20th. Steaks were really outstanding....16oz Sirloin, 24oz Porterhouse especially. Good atmosphere and service. Only real complaint is the price.. $440 for a family-of-4 steak dinner (including drinks & tip) is really pushing it too far. Later that week we ate at Chilli's where the steaks were goo - admittedly not great - but all for 1/3rd of... More

There a steakhouse so they should do great steaks and so they do . Absolutely bursting on a Monday night but they quickly seated our family of four. Attentive friendly service only blotted by putting 3-4 items from the next table on to our bill by mistake. Unfortunately , they said , their criers were broken that night so no... More

First class restaurant and first class food, it is by no means a good price but you get what you pay for here and although expensive the food and service were excellent and we had no complaints whatsoever. Just keep in mind when you order a steak that's what you get " a steak " all vegetables are extra including... More

I have always loved Morton's although my husband has been put off by its priciness in the past. However, the food, service, cocktails, selection, etc. have always been excellent and even he has to agree. However, since newly purchased by a corporate restaurant investment group, a number of things have changed. While you expect change following a sale, I have... More

Reserved a table for 5.30pm to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our table had been decorated and personalised menus had been printed for us! They also took our photo and printed it off for us as a souvenir. The final treat courtesy of mortons was a free hot chocolate cake desert! We both had fillet and they were exellent. Consistent with... More

Visited Morton's for the first time August 2nd. The cue to get in was large although luckily being on my own I was able to get a table quickly. The waitresses appeared quickly and took my order - it seems a pre-requisite for them to have low cut tops. The blue cheese salad was not what I was expecting for... More

Very well presented with attentive staff. Enjoyed the Ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection. The prawn cocktail was interesting but not what I expected but found that this is the standard way of serving a prawn cocktail in the USA. Atmosphere was comfortable. Enjoyable evening.

I think my reviews are a true reflection of the experience and its never personal.most are favourable reviews. This to be 'the' best dining experience in our 6 nights in San Fran. My wife was erring on the prices but I said it'll be great!! Well it wasn't. It was average across the board. Staff seemed preoccupied with more important... More

We were served by a lovely man called Ken who recommended we had the rib eye steak. He also recommended it to be cooked medium. And by gosh this man knows his steaks. It was the most delicious tasting meat that we have ever eaten in our lives. We shared some veg and I am glad too because it was... More

I had never tried a porterhouse steak before, and frankly couldn't believe the size of it!!! We brits are used to sirloin, rump or fillet. All of which are mere mouthfuls compared to a Morton's porterhouse. Full as a kanga's front pocket I still chowed down on an exceptional pudding...
