We ended up beating the crowd and had a wonderful dinner in a cozy restaurant. They only serve select beer and wine, but the food and service were great.

Food was spectacular with service to match. Managed to avoid waiting in line for a long time by swinging around and putting my name on the list an hour before we wanted to dine. Would recommend Nob Hill Cafe to anyone!

Six of us dropped by for lunch on our first day in SF. All entrees were done to perfection and the sauces were to die for. Service was prompt and very friendly. We had Lasagna to Lobster bisque. A must if you are visiting.

Fun, neighborhood feel. Salads were fresh and not over- dressed. Yummy bruschetta. Pizza was very good - loved the fresh basil! Definitely worth a stop if in the neighborhood. Brunch menu looked fab too!

The food was excellent and the waitress was friendly and efficient. The tratoria atmosphere was a bit crowded but OK. We only wish they took reservations. We'll go there again.

We were staying on Nob Hill and had dinner at this very convenient restaurant. The food was very good, though I am not sure it was good enough to justify an hour wait on a Wednesday night. (They do not take reservations.) If you are not in a hurry and the weather is OK (since you have to wait outside),... More

Friendly staff, great food and that explains why it was so popular with everyone. The queue outside was unbelievable. Pizzas really light and pasta cooked just right. We were staying at the fairmont and wanted somewhere close to get some food after a long flight from the UK. We were very happy we chose here.
