Went for lunch on the recommendation of our hotel valet. Great call. Hand made pizzas and pasta with the chef's preparing right in front of the diners. Warning - this place is small and quaint. An easy walk fron the Fairmont or Stanford. Our waitress was excellent with a great personality. You gotta eat here if you like Italian.

Really tasty food , and good price really nice atmosphere and friendly staff only problem is it's popular and u are waiting outside for a table which isn't great in San Fran as it can be cold, but it's worth the wait

Well this little hole in the wall was an absolute delight. lamb shanks and mash on a very cold windy Saturday evening was perfect after a day in Napa Valley. This quaint little restaurant had so much personality, I felt like I had stepped into a Meg Ryan movie. Very cosy fit, not much room which only added to the... More

We are a family of 5, 2 parents and 3 teenagers. We had a great meal at Nob Hill. Prices were reasonable, atmosphere were good and food quality was very good. I had a seafood over linguine dish but it was done with a soy sauce that was a twist for me and a nice variation from the traditional dish.... More

First time at this quaint neighborhood restaurant and am so happy we went. There is nothing fancy about the place, but when the service is quick and good, and the food is delicious, who needs fancy! I had one of the specials, a pasta with chicken and peas in a lemon sauce and it was perfection. Get there early if... More

Nob Hill is another famous attraction. They have great Irish Coffees and the view is epic. It may get a little crowded, because it's small and very popular however, people are friendly and you meet a variety of ethnic folks.

We have been here many times while visiting and it is a great little find. Fresh hot food served with a smile. Try the gnocchi bolognese, yummy.

The food here is exquisite, affordable and clearly made by people who care about food! I've brought my boyfriend here almost every time he's over from Manchester, UK, as he says they do the best pasta this side of the atlantic!

Hiked up 3 steep blocks for the food but it was worth it. They will tell you 25-30 min wait regardless of how long the wait really is, but it is worth it.
