Sunday Brunch

Our concierge recommended this for Sunday Brunch. It was a typical brunch restaurant. It's in the Drake Hotel and a handsome restaurant. I had the brioche french toast and it was good. Good service.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast on a Sunday with colleagues. We were let down by both the quality of the food and the service. Our server was not communicating back what we were ordering and it felt he wasn't getting it. He proved us right. We ordered couple of bloody Mary's - terrible... When I went up to the... More

We enjoyed the sophisticated menu and very professional service. Leaning towards bistro style it was good for a couples night out. The waiter was very helpful in providing recommendations for food as well as accompanying wine. It got a bit noisy with a rowdy table but other than that, great place with a sophisticated decor.

Stayed at Sir Francis Drake hotel, ate one dinner and one breakfast. Great service and large portions in a comfortable setting. Fresh homemade pasta was delicious. The cornbeef hash was amazing. Large chunks of cornbeef, with cheese and poached egg was enough food to feed three people.

We were really looking forward to our meal at Scala's but we were really disappointed. Firstly, the restaurant was very cold with drafts coming from both the main and side doors. Secondly, the food was fine but no sides so had to be ordered and food was very over priced for an average quality. I had the duck which was... More

It was our first time here and I would come back and recommend. We tried the fig pizzetta, the clam linguine and the steak. Everything was tasty and well achieved. The portions are reasonable for the price. The only issue is that we ordered the steak cooked medium and they delivered well cooked. The waiter service is warm and welcoming.... More

We didn't have reservations, but were seated right away. The service is just as excellent as the food.

After a day of walking up and down and all around this great city, we wanted--we needed!--a healthful, delicious meal. Scala's Bistro delivered just that. With no reservation, we were shown to a great window-side table, received attentive service and enjoyed very fresh and confidently prepared fare. A side order of carrots was the most simple, but lovely dish of... More
