Good service at bar

Stopped here for drinks at the bar whilst out shopping - so can only comment on that and not the food. However our experience was very good. Excellent service at our bar table. Very nice atmosphere in the restsurant which felt a bit more upmarket compared to others in the area. It's connected to... read more

Recommend by concierge- food ok - service below average- poor - need to sharpen their act when it comes to service - waiters spend to much time chatting and not serving- poor show when you have to get a waiter to provide water and basics!!!

We went with 9 people . 4 adult, 3 teanagers and 2 children. Although the menu is limited for children. They suggested some aternatives. Bottumline all 9 had a delicious meal. Nice suggestions, nice wine, nice open kitchen, very clean, quickly served Don't hesitate if you like more refined food.

Went there for a business dinner. Almost all of us ordered the hangar steak because a lot of the food on the menu was so different we weren't sure what it was. Steak was good but very chewy. Not work the $37 they charge for it.

busy with business people and poorly lit. had to use the flash light app on the phone to read the menu.. staff were too eager to take orders and then get us out of the booth. Food was OK , one dish was not what we were expecting.

Our 1st night in SF. So so restaurant. Good service, and ok food. Pricey wine list compared to what we got in Carmel and other PCH1 cities.

My husband and I dined here last night and we had a fantastic meal. The décor, the ambiance, the food, and the service were all top notch. The heirloom tomato and cucumber appetizer, the duck confit main dish, and the Bostini Cream Pie dessert were all 5 star. We loved it and we highly recommend dining here.

Just perfect service and food and cool san francisco, old school ambiance. This is forcing me to type more characters to submit this review.

Staying at the Francis Drake hotel so breakfast here was an easy option on the day we left. Turned out to be the best breakfast we had in San Francisco! Light fluffy pancakes, delicious omelettes and a great Mexican dish we can't remember the name of!!!

Looking for a place for a late afternoon cocktail, stopped in at Scala's, had the best gin & tonic I have ever had, very comfortable location, great staff, no pressure to purchase food
