An delightful experience marrying great food and magical ambience. Succulent entrees and the best chocolate desert that I ever had, chocolate and nutella with a hint of gold flakes fit for a Queen (or King!) ...You can dine at the bar, I did and I was very impressed with the staff and bartender's knowledge of the menu ,fine wines and... We stayed for a few days in San Francisco and one evening we wanted to spoil ourselves and go to a top seafood restaurant. And yes, the food was excellent and so was the service. Equally good the very, very extensive wine list on which we found excellent white wines for as little (for the US!!) as 40 or 50... More

Arriving and sitting at the oyster bar, I had high expectations. I started with the oysters which they have a huge selection and all were pristine and perfect served with a mignonette. Next was the warm vichysoisse soup with dungeness crab which was delicious but the portion was extremely meager for the price and only a couple of spoonfuls of... More

This restaurant was amazing when I visited. The decor is stunning, with fascinating sealife lighting and excellent staff. I remember having moules frites and then duck. A great place to take someone you're trying to impress ;) I probably should have tried more of their seafood.

Farallon offers an amazing dining experience that should not be missed. From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you enter into a magical undersea world. The decor is beautiful and fun, with jellyfish lights and anemone chandeliers, and various aquariums. Often the decor of a restaurant makes up for the deficiencies of the kitchen, however, that was not the... More

This is a beautiful restaurant and a tremendous culinary and taste experience. The service is exceptional and they serve great dishes and surprising tastes. Plan to enjoy a long and relaxed meal here. There is much to enjoy for the discerning palate as well as for the novice.

Went here with high expectations but was disappointed. We ordered the degustation which was reasonably creative and tasty. However, no dishes stood out and the service between courses was very slow. I asked at least 3 times to speed it up and was assured it would become more efficient but the slow pace continued. If you go there I would... More

Great, safe for multiple pallets, seafood restaurant with undersea theme. Fish (which is difficult to cook properly) was perfectly cooked.
