Good find whilst on business trip

Myself and some European colleagues ate here whilst on a business trip in early Feb. It felt off the tourist trail which was nice as I prefer to eat where locals will go. When we arrived the place was very busy with a good atmosphere. We waited 30 mins for a table but that was no problem as we... read more

The beer was great with a good variety of high gravity drinks. The food was good also with the only complaint being the bacon on the burger was really tough and hard to chew. Great experience.

This was a tough place to rate. I came for an early dinner and the bar area was already full. The location is conveniently located maybe a 15 minute walk from the Moscone Center area. The inside has a pleasant feel - local bar vibe, casual upscale, high ceilings. In addition to the bar, there is a loft area with... More

The San Francisco Brewery Tour...STOP #3 Seemed to be more of sports bar/restaurant vibe than a brewery...not my scene...place was super packed...Green Bay Packers VS Seattle Seahawks were playing...where was Bret Farve? Did he get injured? Haven't watched football in awhile... We had some tasters regardless. Staff is nice, but not my kind of crowd...maybe I'll try again on a... More

We visited here for lunch and a few beers over the holidays. The reuban was deliciously cheesy, the selection of beers wasn't overwhelming but appropriate, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. This is definitely a spot I would return to!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here: comfortable space, friendly and knowledgable staff, interesting beer selections, solidly good pub food. We were seated almost immediately on the busy Saturday before Christmas and service was prompt. Our server apologized for the "wait" although it was nothing, maybe 10 minutes. It is a bit of a trek to the location but worth it... More

When I arrived at the 21st Amendment brewery, I was excited to grab a delicious tasting sampler and a pizza that I had heard so much about. Neither disappointed in the least. However, I decided not to give a five star rating to 21st Amendment, as they did not really have a beer that blew me away, so to speak.... More

It goes without saying that the beer selection will be good here. They always have a good selection and they let you sample a few to get to the right pick. The people are all very nice here, always smiling. I also like the breadth and quality of their food menu. I was only there for a brief stop in... More

We always go to 21st Amendment when we are in SF. The beer is amazing, great service, very comfortable atmosphere even when packed with people. And it always seems to be busy. This is just a great fun place to go to that happens to have great beer! We will always go back!!

Nice bar scene with restaurant area, open kitchen, upstairs seating and bar style tables in the windows. Food was ordered at the bar. The Reuben sandwich was very good and very filling, including the chips which were golden and crispy. It arrived promptly and was hot. The watermelon beer that I had with it went down very well. I did't... More

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
