When my colleague and I arrived the place was a little lively. It was nice to see the open kitchen. Our waiter was friendly and made some recommendations. It was nice to receive some bread with some gorgeous spread. I ordered the Capellini with shrimps which was a let down. Not full of flavour or authentic enough to call it... More

Anyone who loves Italian food will love this restaurant and bar. We ate here twice on our recent stay in SF and had nothing but accolades for the service, food and drinks. It is located about 3 blocks away from Union Square and has 1/2 price happy hour from 3-6. This is key because you can order excellent house red... More

We came in for a couple of drink before heading back to our hotel. We were made welcome and we ordered some drinks. The place seems popular with professionals. People on the adjacent table were eating some really tasty food and it tempted it us to order a Bruschetta. The food was great and good value but the drinks were... More

On our final night in San Francisco the boys and I wanted to go out for a nice dinner to celebrate. After searching and searching we decided on Puccini & Pinetti because it was just across the street from the Parc 55 Wyndham hotel where we were staying. We were seated right away and had a very enthusiastic male waiter.... More

Good food, excellent atmosphere and a staff that feels like family once they have served you the first drink or dish! Situated downtown in the midst of all the shopping sites, hotel and conference goers, you would think a place like this would not need to work hard to get customers, but they do! They really go out of their... More

We found ourselves at this restaurant as it was close to the hotel where family were staying. We were in that peculiar time of late afternoon when restaurants have finished lunch but have not begun dinner service. A restaurant that served tea would have been ideal but we could not find one close by. However, this was close and had... More

We picked this place out for dinner in the bustling Union Square area mainly because it had a gluten-free menu, which my wife requires. That's not common at Italian restaurants. Here, there were many choices, including pasta. The service was good. The food was average or just slightly above. Not as fresh as it could have been. A little over-prepared.... More

We had a nice dinner here but nothing mind blowing. We wanted a nice dinner close to the hotel we were staying at and thought we'd try it. The restaurant was very busy and loud whick was ok, but seemed we were a bit rushed to finish. The deconstructed bruschetta was a BIG hit and i'd go back just for... More

We tried this restaurant simply because it was close to our hotel and we were tired at the end of a long day. We were so glad we did - we loved the atmosphere, the food, and the martini menu. Prices are on par for good food in San Francisco. Ate there a couple of times during our stay and... More

We ate here Christmas Eve because it was our first night in San Francisco and this was close to our hotel. The service was great, and the food was good, but over priced. It was definitely nothing to write home about but was good for a short notice dinner.
