We fancied an Italian

Visited this restaurant after passing it on our way back from a tour. It was very pleasant and we had the set menu which included two glasses of wine. Don't know that it was brilliant value for money but the food was good and the waiters were very pleasant and eager to help you. Worth a visit.

This Italian restaurant in the Hotel Abri on Ellis Street is warm and welcoming. It offers an extensive menu and wine list My husband had the special-- a fettucine pesto with white corn, sausage and mozzarella. It was delicious!! I had the spaghetti and meatballs which was a huge portion, but very dry-- it needed more sauce. There was plenty... More

Quasi Italian style restaurant. Nice ambiance. Food OK, nothing spectacular, reasonable prices. Bartender serving me was very good and helpful. One other bartender (female) looked like she did not want to be there. Glad she did not wait on me.

My boss and I ate a quick meal here the evening of the Pride parade. The food just wasn't that impressive or tasty, and it wasn't any better than I could have gotten more humbly and cheaper back at home. I found it too little taste and quantity for the cost we paid to have it.

Why this place is not teeming with customers is puzzling. The food, like its uptown sister, is excellent. The homemade pasta is one always standout. Meat dishes are good too, particularly the lamb and veal. This is they rare restaurant where one can have a conversation without loud music playing, receive good service and dine in a nicely decorated contemporary... More

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant by accident whilst we were exploring the area, late at night and were delighted that it was still open for business after 10pm. We were both very hungry so ordered starters and mains, but even we were pushed to finish as the portion sizes were enormous! The food was delicious and seafood fresh from... More

Went there before a show at ACT. They thanked us for supporting the theater and the restaurant when we told them we had tickets and needed to watch our time. The food was very good and the service very attentive. A few of the negative reviews we read before going worried us but our worries were unfounded. We will definitely... More

When my partner and I travel we need to find places that cater to food allergies. Finding places is usually not a problem in a big city - but finding variety is an issue. We were suprised to see that Puccini and Pinetti had a gluten free menu, and so decided to try it out. My partner has gluten and... More

Great Italian food, fun bar, attentive service. Like it well enough to go back two nights in a row. I wish it were in my neighborhood. I would go there once a week. It's as Italian as any restaurant in Italy. Loved everything we had: prosecco, red wine, coffee, green salad, minestrone soup, tapenade (delicious!), capellini pasta with plum tomato... More
