We went here for breakfast, it was good and it was moderately priced. There was not a wait to get in :)
After a day of sightseeing with my wife and young son, we stopped in since they were gluten-free and were very accommodating for our allergy needs (wife/son). Since we weren't dressed up we thought it wouldn't be acceptable but many people were in casual clothes and many kids were in the restaurant. May not be considered fine dining if you... More
Stayed next door and went from having a drink at bar to enjoying a dinner at a table. Service was great and didn't mind our small dinner since we had snacked at the bar. Carpaccio and calamari were delicious!
The restaurant was really nice. It was cozy and quiet. It had a nice bar area for drinks before dinner and had nice seating areas if you were waiting for your table. We were lucky enough to get a booth and it was really relaxing. The food was really good and the whole atmosphere was really comfortable. It is less... More
We were looking for a restaurant we hadn't been to before near our SF location. We got an offer from Kimpton to try one of their restaurants. So, why not? Food was fresh and delicious. The ravioli was spectacular. The service is a little fast and abrupt but after a moment of realizing this is the "style" of this restaurant... More
This was a late night stop for dinner in SF. I had pasta a la vongole and it was fine, my companion had a braised short rib. Both were fine, the service was rapid and good, the price was not cheap, and the wine was good. What ekse would I want...Oysters? I would try this again.
Great to hear you stopped in during your time in SF. Please come back for our $2 Oysters and $3 champagne! More
Recommended by our hotel, didn't realise until afterwards that it is owned by them (grumble). The menu contained ribs and chicken Marsala. This is not Italian food, it's not even close to Italian food. Perhaps the owners could explain to me how that is Italian? Ribs are American BBQ and Marsala is Indian. Ridiculous
Hey Midge651, Thanks for joining us for dinner during you visit to SF. I wish we had the opportunity to speak with you in person and explain more in depth about our ingredients and methods of preparation. We do not serve baby back ribs covered in barbeque sauce nor Indian cuisine like chicken tikka masala. On the other hand, we... More
my daughter recommended this and it was a winner! Calamari fresh and hot, pizza marguerite for first courses. Fresh greens with apples and cider vinaigrette were delicious followed by grilled salmon on a pile of hot fresh mashed potatoes with white corn, cherry tomatoes and greens. Very flavorful and the hot corn literally burst in my mouth with freshness and... More
Thanks for the feed back Linda! If you find yourself back on the west coast, please come back and visit us! More
We were a party of 4 adults and one infant. The servers were courteous and accomodated our requests well. The food however left us not so impressed. The ravioli did not have much stuffing, although the small amount that was in there tasted good. Risotto was ok, higher on the cheesy side, would've appreciated more herbs. We also tried margherita... More
Thanks for your recent feedback, and sounds like we missed the mark on food. We are changing our menus seasoanlly and have some great, hearty dishes for the winter season. Please come back and try out our many other menu options. More
Stayed at Hotel Abri for a week and had drinks and dinner here. Was not dissappointed. They have a good happy hour, $3 beers. I had the ribeye from the dinner menu and it was excellent. If you are staying at the Abri and want something close you can't go wrong here.
So glad to hear you joined us while staying at Hotel Abri! Don't be a stranger, and come visit us the next time you are in town. More
