We had gone to another restaurant, but were turned away because they were full and we did not have a reservation. The hostess directed us to Puccini and Pinetti. It was about 4 blocks away. Very nice decor. We were seated right away. The waiter was friendly. We ordered a Caesar salad to split. It was huge, even after they... More

Good location right by Parc 55 Wyndham. Food was good well cooked and tasty. Service was good. Drinks were a little pricey and the local San Fransisco beer was average. Nice dip for the bread - all in all a very decent meal with good service. Coffee au lait was good, we passed on the desserts as the main meal... More

- I didn't like the "open seating" meaning that you had to wait for a table, but the wait staff didn't help you out. My friend and I waited over 20 minutes, only to have a man cut in front of us to claim a table, as we were walking to the table. When we pointed it out to the... More

This restaurant was only memorable because I ordered scallops and got four tiny scallops for $28. The food was just average, the place was extremely loud at happy hour and nothing was outstanding.

I think this place opens at 11 AM (to confirm). In the Union Square neighborhood, it is one of the only places where American breakfast can be found. The other options are either a tiny store to buy a croissant and coffee and go, or a little bigger place selling croissants and coffee where one can actually sit, fighting with... More

I found this place by accident, as I was staying at Hotel Nikko and it is just footsteps away. It looked really nice from the outside, and the inside did not disappoint. It is upscale with an authentic Italian feel. Nice big bar, friendly bartender & regulars, and warning - the place gets jammed packed during happy hour. The first... More

While in San Francisco, I ate at Puccini & Pinetti. The food looked pretty, but I left wishing I had ordered something else. I had the scallops. There were four scallops and an almost $30.00 price tag. There was not anything special about the dish, and I think it included risotto. That fact that I can't remember what was served... More

Second night in San Francisco - walked by and this looked interesting. Food was great and the waiter attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the wait staff were attentive and responded quickly for both drinks and food. Recommend as a pleasant place to have an evening out.

We always come here whenever traveling to SF. The food is great but the service can always improve. love their chicken and lamb shanks. It is a little expensive unlike other SF fast food joints.
