Best pasta

Had the best bowl of pasta here- really fresh and flavoursome! I thought it was a tad on the pricy side for a simple pasta dish but it was delicious so can't really complain. Great service too.

To be honest, I did not have high expectations. A large Italian restaurant, near Union Square, could easily be a tourist trap. However; we did not have all that many options when we finally decided there to go and how wrong can one go with Italian? It started out quite ok, we had a drink at the bar, whlist waiting... More

Dissapointing from the moment we entered. The staff was not particulary welcomming, and we were barely allowed time to open the menus before we had to order. The VOSS water came closed to our table, full, but with the seal allready broken. The water didn't taste like VOSS water at all (we're pretty used to the taste of it in Norway...)... More

This place had a good happy hour, but the food wasn't anything special. And the portions were small for the price. I really wasn't impressed at all. But I did enjoy the wine.

In San Francisco for a business trip and our group chose to come here for dinner. Staff were great and the food was most excellent. We tried the Bruschetta and it was simply the best I have ever had - the sauce was so good I would like to make a meal of it. I had the Chicken Marsala and... More

Glad we ended up eating here for dinner. The service was very nice. They initially had us near a table with a large group that was very loud, and they kindly offered to move us to a more quiet area. The food was really good. Another nice thing was that they texted us to let us know our table was... More

We were in town for just the night and were staying at the nearby Hilton Union Square Hotel, a short walk away. We made reservations in the late afternoon for 6:30pm with no difficulty. This restaurant is in a great location, on the SE corner of Ellis & Cyril Magnin, essentially minutes away from Union Square or the Powell Street... More

Went here on Valentine's day. The service was very good. The food was not up to other reviews and quite frankly poor. I had the braised ribs and it was overcooked. In fact everything was overcooked. Maybe a bad night but I was NOT impressed.

Great choice of nibbles for a bargain price. Fritto misto, oysters, mussels..... Wine and beer served during the allocated time of a good quality. Efficient bar staff and friendly. I've been here many times over the years with work and visited this cosy restaurant and it is still consistent and value for money.
