This was a terrible experience. It was our first stop when arriving in San Francisco. We went in for lunch right before the crowd arrived (around 11:30AM). I left wondering if poor service and rude servers was some type of gimmick. I also left feeling as though we had terribly inconvenienced the staff. Our server, Barry was one of the... More

My husband and I enjoy finding a wonderful restaurant whenever we travel, and despite the raves of others who had been here before us, we didn't think this one was worth the hype. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is very old school, with dark paneling and waitstaff in their white coats...however even though our waiter was standing at our... More

We went quite a ways out of our way for what we were told was the best seafood in San Francisco. The ambiance was definitely old school with servers in white coats and dining booths with dark paneling and low lighting. Sadly enough, the wait staff decided that they could not be bothered with us despite our good manners and... More

Busy & loud. Perfect spot for a large family. Bit of a wait for a party of our size but that was to be expected. Food was fine.

Haven't been back to Tadich's for many years and the service and food were as good as ever. Wonderful place to eat and visit. A true San Francisco heritage site.

We had lunch at Tadich Grill while walking around the city. The food was fantastic, and the ambiance was a real treat; fun to be in such an old-school dining institution.

It's said to be the best ciaopino in SF and I would not disagree. Charming, old fashoned, authentic. My kind of place to eat and have fun.

I went here on a recommendation from a colleague. Although we had no reservation we were welcomed and seated promptly however I was rather disappointed by seafood and fish which I found rather bland and tasteless, though obviously to some peoples taste.

This restaurant came highly recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. The sourdough bread, the cioppino and the Dungeness crab cocktail were all delicious. The waiter was professional and experienced. We went for an early dinner so there was no wait. It isn't inexpensive but it is in line with other restaurants of the same caliber... More

This is a great restaurant, but know what your purpose is. Their forte is busy business people and upscale tourists who want high quality food and service and are willing to pay for it. Nothing wrong with that. I had a business lunch here on a Saturday and we arrived right at 11:30am, so there was no line. The staff... More
