First you walk in and see the two lambs rotating on a spit in a fireplace. That alone would have been enough dinning excitement to surpass my usual expectations. But then everything from there just got better and better. First the service was amazing, I could not take a sip of my water with out it being refilled. He was... More

Four of us went to dinner, we had a 6:00 reservation (all I could get, 1 month ahead, so book early). We were seated in a lovely booth. We started with the fried cheese, Greek style. It was lovely but our salads were just amazing!! We had three different ones and I would have a hard time saying which was... More

This place was great from start to finish. We were seated per our reservation promptly on arrival, the staff was courteous, knowledgeable and attentive and had great timing. The food was creative while still retaining the classic feel of the cuisine generally and everything was absolutely tasty. We really enjoyed the meal and the experience and definitely would recommend it... More

This is I think by far the best restaurant I have ever been to in America. The food was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable about their menu and they are quite friendly, too. With regards to the food, the serving serving size was just right and food was to die for. I ordered a roast and the meat was... More

Done a lot of traveling. Eaten a lot of food. Kokkari lives up to the hype. Outside of Estiatorio Milos in Las Vegas, some of the best Greek food in the states. Greek wines are incredible and provide the best value. The saganaki, while it does not come out flaming, is the real deal. Add the peppers and you're in... More

Tip #1 = table 10, located in the main/front dining room - table for 2, quaint with great view of fresh bread basket/lamb on the fire Tip #2 = Sevag? believe that was his name, incredibly good waiter escalated the dinner from phenomenal to amazing Tip #3 = Goat Stew ... honestly one of the best things I have ever... The restaurant is beautiful and the greek kitchen is really good. The flavors of the dishes are very similar to the greek ones. Recommended especially the appetizers. The food isn't too much expensive.

Deliciooouuuuuus food. There was some kind of problem in the kitchen, dinner was a bit delayed, but we were well taken care of, drinks and dessert on the house. Need I say more?

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday during a recent trip to San Fran. We selected this restaurant because of the wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint! We started with the prawns appetizer which was garlicky, buttery, and delicious. I had the vegetarian pasta, which was good, but didn't even come close to matching... More

I love Greek food and I've wanted to try Kokkari for many years. When I read the Zagat review, I could not believe the ratings of 28 for food, 27 for décor and 27 for service. Until, of course, I had dinner there last night. I'm a believer and I should note that I enjoyed our dinner last night better... More
