Amazing dinner, one of the best dinners I have ever had!

We went here on our honeymoon , booked on the day and didn't think we would get in, but we got a great table in the middle. Service was so attentive and the atmosphere felt very American, sophiscated but cosy. We had some great wine reoccmeneded and the pork main was delicious. Cannot fault would... read more

I have been to Boulevard a few times and always found the food to be rather overrated. The decor is great, with the belle epoque style. If you can reserve a table by the window overlooking the bay, then that's even better. The service is excellent but the food is disappointing. The last time I ordered wagyu beef carpaccio and... I wrote a review on April 1 about a very bad experience at Boulevard. Two days after my review I received a call from a man that identified himself as the General Manager of Boulevard. After I explained what had happened, he apologized and said he would credit back to my card a partial refund and that he would send... More

My husband and I had a delightful dinner at Boulevard. The meal was wonderful, service was delightful and setting is lovely. We started with a drink at the bar, followed by great meal of seafood and pork chops. I confess the highlight of our meal was dessert—a Meyer lemon icebox cake, which was “roll on the floor” great. (I controlled... More

Took my wife here for her birthday. Our first time. Everything was perfect. The service, little hand signed card by the staff for my wife, drinks, and then of course the food. The scallops app was out of this world. We had the salmon and the sole dishes and both were perfectly cooked. The amount of food was also perfect.... More

A smart young business associate suggested this restaurant for an elegant lunch while I was on a day long "exploreSan Francisco" mood. The location opposite the Ferry Building is perfect and the indoor atmosphere cozy and friendly. The tables are small and getting to the rest rooms feel like plummeting to the netherworld.. but the food and wine in this... More

This place is everything you would expect. Great food and service. A good wine list and very nice décor. Everything we ordered was perfect. There is no wonder why they keep winning awards. It might cost a bit more, but its certainly worth it.

I met a friend for dinner here. The service was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. This is a luxury dinner - but worth it! The menu choices were interesting and well described. Everything was delicious (althought the bread was thicker and chewier than I would have liked - it's a personal thing - this was very hearty... More

One of the best restaurants in SF! I've never been disappointed. The majority is brick oven roasted meals. This is one of my family's favorite places to eat in SF.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
