Wow, was that one of the most disappointing meals I have experienced in a really long time. I not only write reviews, but I try to rely on the other reviews for recommendations. How in the world did this restaurant get such high reviews. Is the Asian fusion food so bad in San Francisco that this is the best. I... More

We arrived in San Fran yesterday and were advised The House was the best in town. When ordering I questioned if 2 dishes I ordered contained nuts as I have an allergy and was told no. When the food arrived I questioned again to double check and then was told it has pine nuts, and can I eat those!? Pine... More

This is a nice place with limited seating. We stopped in and it was quite busy -- the host agreed to call us when a table was ready for our table of 4. So we stopped next door for a drink. The menu is original and all the dishes are expertly prepared.

We've been going here often, especially during lunch. We were always happy with their dishes. Only challenge is finding parking, but it's worth every trip. Trip to go there early, say 11:30 am for lunch.

All I can say is: "Go to this restaurant if you can!" Each of our dishes was creative and excellent. My wife and I just happened across The House while wandering North Beach. We were fortunate that we arrived right around noon, because by 12:20 there were plenty of people waiting for a table. It was the best meal we... More

The meal is fantastic, the food is prepared as well as any place I have eaten in San Francisco. This is not an easy place to find or especially find parking but it is worth the trip. Their fresh tuna dinner is an excellent choice and just enough. Unlike many San Francidco restaurants their pricing is very reasonable. Order the... More

Despite the bland, forgettable name the experience is anything but. The restaurant is not for the timid but will satisfy those who seek a more flavorful San Francisco dining adventure. It is located in a "vibrant" neighborhood just north of the strip bars on Broadway. Look closely at the photos of the outside of the restaurant, because they accurately depict... More

We'd read about this place but never though we'd be able to get in, we accidentally walked past it just before it opened one evening and joined the line, imagine our surprise when we got straight in, totally luck as the place was packed thereafter. Really imaginative presentation and great produce and value means this is a must check out... More

Our last night in town, we asked an employee of our hotel (Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf) for a recommendation for Asian food, we didn't really have a preference of type, wanted some place a local would recommend. He recommended this restaurant and it was delicious. Up until that night all the food we had was good, nothing to write home about,... More

I've been here twice for lunch with colleagues, and both times I had the curry noodles. The first time I had them with shrimp which was delicious, but I noticed people having the chicken version got a lot more of sauce! So today I got the chicken version, and it was delicious! The service is a little slow, but the... More
