Yum yum

Hands down best blueberry pancakes I've ever had. Goodness me I wish I could replicate the recipe. Great place to start the day!

We veered off the main street of San Francisco's Little Italy - one block to this awesome breakfast spot! Friendly service and great food! We would return anytime!

Get ready for a big meal - these burgers are delicious and cooked to perfection over fire. Great fries - good service. The buns are too big and are perhaps 50% of the burger. A simple dining area, open kitchen where you see your meal being prepared. A simple, nice place for a good burger.

We were staying in the area, and had breakfast here two days in a row. We had a savoury breakfast the first day, and the second was pancakes. Both were good, but not great. (The potatoes were way too garlicky for me, but my husband loved them.) The service wasn't the friendliest, and when I told the waitress on the... More

We had breakfast here before church. Authentic atmosphere, amazing food quality and friendly staff. This place is charming and the portions are way over the top. A real find in the city!

Ate here twice as our hotel was around the corner. Breakfasts were good - friendly waiting staff. Portions generous especially the breakfast burritos! Not the cheapest option but it's North Shore and the people were friendly with quite a few locals not just tourists which is an indication of this place's popularity.

My friends have recommended this place for me and i would like to do it for the world!! It is the one of the best burgers i've ever has in my life. I like spicy food so i ordered the Tex-Mix. Thank you Mo's for the wonderful burger ;)

Make the effort to get to Mo's for breakfast, they grill over volcanic rock or a rotating grill - that's not something you see every day! The food was exactly what we wanted after climbing the hill to the Coit Tower. Poached eggs, toast, omlette and the home fries were excellent.

Wow, it seems it is always about bacon and sausage. So i decided to try Mos spicy pork chop and eggs. Every single item on my plate was perfect and what a great treat. Pork chop was juicy and I could cut it with my fork! I also changed up the OJ idea and had fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. It... More

Staying in North Beach / Telegraph Hill

Neighborhood Profile
North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian ristorante come together to create the charming neighborhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always suitable for younger visitors, few neighborhoods in the city exude as much European charm and style. Peruse a bookstore for the literature of Kerouac, Ferlinghetti and Ginsberg, grab some gelato and head to Washington Square for a perfect afternoon of people watching. Just east of North Beach, the hills and staircases of Telegraph Hill are a unique delight. At its peak, the art deco Coit Tower provides sweeping panoramic views of the bay and city. The beautifully landscaped Filbert Street Steps, a street too steep for a roadway, rewards those willing to hike uphill. Keep your ears open and you might even hear the squawk of the wild parrots who call this neighborhood home.
