Was recommended this place by a friend recently. Good authentic Italian food for a very reasonable price. As mentioned by other reviewers, the restaurant is rather small so either come early or make a reservation to avoid being disappointed. Would definitely be back here again soon.

This is a small but delicious restaurant that is about to expand. Reservations are a must due to its popularity. The staff was extremely friendly and seemed to really enjoy themselves. The bresaola starter was wonderful (just like I had in Florence only a few weeks ago), as were the minestone, sausage pizza, and salmon with kalamata and pancetta on... More

We came here with 6 others family members for a celebration. It's a small space but they accommodate us. This is your basic no frill but great Italian restaurant. The service is also good. We would return and recommend this place to others.

Okay, so I've never been to Florence, but I can only imagine that the food could not be better than Pazzia. This is not a place to hop in, get your food and get out. Everything is made fresh to order with the highest quality. Even though they will soon be expanding, reservations are an absolute must. The red sauce... More

Had to wait over an hour for my food ..linguini with clams which was fresh but nothing special. A question over the bill was handled extremely badly by the waitress & the owner .

Our group of eight friends decided to try Pazzia after reading that on Trip Advisor this cozy gem ranked 10th (out of 4,900) restaurants in San Francisco. While I have only dined at a fraction of SF eating establishments, we had an amazing meal of great food and attentive and friendly service which became a 2 1/2 hour festival! We... More

Creative, fresh Italian food in Soma with great service. Jacopo and girlfriend Julia we're so friendly, welcoming and fun. Our kids tried their best Italian phrases with Jacopo. He talked and joked with us, and hugged the kids on the way out. It was an amazing experience on top of incredibly prepared food. A night we'll remember in SF....

Hello beautiful restaurant. We strolled up to Pazzia without a reservation while on a family vacation in San Francisco. It appeared all the tables were occupied, but they quickly and enthusiastically made us a table for 4 out on the sidewalk. It is clear they have a local following. Despite being a clear tourist family, they really made us feel... More

We wanted somewhere causal but good, and within walking distance of our hotel at 4th and Market. This was a wonderful find. I would highly recommend reservations as the seating is limited and there was a line there when we went. The ambience is Spartan but the food and service were excellent. We kept it simple with Caesar salad, spicy... More
