Our group of eight friends decided to try Pazzia after reading that on Trip Advisor this cozy gem ranked 10th (out of 4,900) restaurants in San Francisco. While I have only dined at a fraction of SF eating establishments, we had an amazing meal of great food and attentive and friendly service which became a 2 1/2 hour festival! We... More

Creative, fresh Italian food in Soma with great service. Jacopo and girlfriend Julia we're so friendly, welcoming and fun. Our kids tried their best Italian phrases with Jacopo. He talked and joked with us, and hugged the kids on the way out. It was an amazing experience on top of incredibly prepared food. A night we'll remember in SF....

Hello beautiful restaurant. We strolled up to Pazzia without a reservation while on a family vacation in San Francisco. It appeared all the tables were occupied, but they quickly and enthusiastically made us a table for 4 out on the sidewalk. It is clear they have a local following. Despite being a clear tourist family, they really made us feel... More

We wanted somewhere causal but good, and within walking distance of our hotel at 4th and Market. This was a wonderful find. I would highly recommend reservations as the seating is limited and there was a line there when we went. The ambience is Spartan but the food and service were excellent. We kept it simple with Caesar salad, spicy... More

I decided on this resaurant since my of my friends from the Netherlands is actually from Italy and I thought we should try some Italian food and see how a restaurant in SF compared to what she gets at home. Well, we sit down and our waiter starts to joke with us in Italian and it comes to find out... More

I ate here with a friend last night. The line of patrons waiting was long, but we got seated quickly. The venue is small and intimate; perhaps accommodating only about 20 tables. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Upon exiting the restaurant, the owner came over and extended his hand as a sign of gratitude for us... More

Ate here with a bunch of friends to celebrate a special occasion. Food was fabulous, staff were great, and the owner even came out and hung with us for a bit. My favorite restaurant for Italian in SF!! --Bobby G.

This restaurant has perhaps the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy. We started wth the beet and arugula salad and it tasted like the arugula was just picked. The highlight, however, was the ravioli from the special sheet. It was a homemade pasta filled with spinach and ricotta in a pink sauce along with baby artichokes. We shared... More
