The staff at Pazzia Caffe and Trattoria are very friendly and helpful. The pasta and pizza are fresh and very tasty. I had the margherita pizza which was very good. If you like Italian food, I'd highly recommend that you try Pazzia. It's the best restaurant within a few blocks of the convention center.

Pasta was excellent but all food looked delicious. Our waiter Rocko had great recommendations. All the staff were great. Had a very enjoyable meal. Did not have to wait for reservations but that will change when others find this hidden gem.

This restaurant wasn't far from our hotel so because of its high rating on TA we went there this evening. On arrival we found it very busy and noisy. We were seated and handed menus. I fancied a pizza and salad but side salads weren't offered, just salads as main meals. We looked at the pizza menu and many of... More

My husband and I were looking for some Italian food the night we arrived in SFO. We decided to try Piazza since it was close and the reviews were good. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated right away. That was nice. The food however was not as good as the reviews led us to believe. My husband... More

Very friendly owners serving good food in a very casual setting... Kids friendly, location is downtown, so if you are in the area I recommend this place.

Little gem of a restaurant. Recommended by our hotel (SF Marriot Marquis) a few bocks away. Its what you imagine a family run restaurant in Italy should be like. Fantastic friendly accommodating staff running around making sure everyone is enjoying the food and having a good night. Freshly prepared pasta, meat dishes and fish dishes all at decent value. Such a fun and welcoming family restaurant. We loved it, the food was amazing, so much so that my two girls wanted to eat there again the following night. Aussie Family Abroad :)

Me and my family had no reservation on a busy night while visiting San Francisco, yet the Pazzia team bent over backwards to accommodate us and make us welcome. Fresh, authentic Italian meat, salads, fish, pasta and pizza. Wonderful vibrant but chilled atmosphere and great service. Heartily recommended!

What a wonderful place to visit while in San Francisco. The location was small but I felt as though I was in someone's Italian with energy and people moving around. The restaurant allows you to either sit inside or outside of which I chose to sit inside another to look at the paintings on the walls. I enjoyed being served... More

Nice clean hole in the wall restaurant. Doesn't seat many people, so go early. Food was delicious and authentic tasting Italian; including the fresh bread and olive oil starter. Highly recommend any of their pasta dishes and their awesome Tiramisu. Bring your wallet, price adds up quickly if you have multiple courses/drinks.
