It's a tiny place with good vibes and tasty food. Location is good at Fillmore Street where you find nice boutiques and a great selection of small restaurants and bars. Service was accommodating, friendly and fast. Food was prepared of prime and fresh ingrediences. Portions were large and following authentic design. Wine list was good as expected in California. Selection... More

I can not emphasize what a great find this place is especially if you are a foodie! It is a hole in the wall on the busy Fillmore Street. The food was so delicious. We went there for lunch and they have a special where you can try three definite foods on one plate. I chose the pomegranate chicken, the... More

Food was alright.. a bit acidic for my tastes but some people will enjoy that. Whilst the waitresses smiled and were friendly we have never felt so rushed during a meal. One member of our party still had his knife and fork in his hand and the waitress took his plate from him. She kept saying it was so the... More

We both ordered the mixed plate. Really very tasty and a nice balance. Especially enjoyed the pomegranate chicken and the chicken Cilicia. Did not care for the Armenian potato salad, but the lentil soup was excellent.

I was staying in a hotel that did not have food. I went to Fillmore Street to look for food. Most of the restaurants were pizza. I finally found La Medeteranee. The food was great and the owner really went out of the way to take care of me including giving me actual silverware to take back to the hotel.... More

This is just a quintessential SF restaurant. Great Mediterranean food, small place so you can go alone and feed comfortable or have a party! The food is consistently wonderful with large portions. Get the Mezze for two a glass of wine and sit back and enjoy. Casual, inexpensive, good atmosphere..... It has been my go to place for 30 years.

This place is fine if you've never had Mediterranean food outside of the US. Sorry, call me picky but the Greek lemon chicken soup was not very good as it didn't have any rice in it. It's not the way I remember having at in Greece or Greek restaurants in the US. I would not call it a destination restaurant.

I was looking for a nice place for dinner to go with my wife and daughter, nothing too fancy but also not McD's - this totally fit the bill. To further help us was the fact that it was Valentines Day and we were very happy that they didn't have a fixed menu. The 3 of us are vegetarians and... More
