At Chow, we support our neighbors and local farms by offering fresh, organic, healthy ingredients. Our chicken is organic free-range, our beef is natural & organic and our seafood is sustainably caught & delivered fresh. All our desserts are made fresh daily in our Lafayette location and fresh juices are pressed to order. This commitment to quality has put us on San Francisco Chronicle's list of the Top 100 Restaurants in the Bay Area nine years in a row.

Amazing food, perfectly cooked

It's surprisingly tricky to find a good steak in this part of SF. We found one here…. Cooked to perfection! And the wood smoked mussels with butter sauce were to die for! A relaxed and friendly atmosphere topped it off. Will definitely be back.

Very busy place on the weekends and can understand why. Had to wait a few minutes for a table but they seated us out the back in the patio area, which is what we requested. Good honest food. Friendly staff. Will be going back.

An excellent atmosphere and ambiance greets you as well as the very friendly staff. We ate on the patio which was a bit quieter than the bar but just as homely. The food was amazing, fresh and tasty. The portion sizes are great. Not too much and not to little. I would recommend the Chicken Noodle Soup, I had a... More

Only wished we had discovered this place earlier. What can I say food and service the best we have had in San Francisco. Food is a mix of Thai American fussion and tastes delicious. It's a great local place to eat with a great atmosphere. It's a must on your list of places to visit

This was recommended from this site and Yelp so we gave it a try. It was completely worth it! The cable car stops right out the door which is fun. It’s also only about a 10 minute walk from FW. We were seated after a few minute wait which was fine. We shared a carafe of their house Chianti which... More

This was recommended by friends as a great place to meet, for a lunch before I jetted back across the Pacific to return home. It was very easy to find, being very close to public transport. Surprising, being on a busy main road, the interior is very quiet and welcoming. I could not fault the service (as is hard to... More

It's not easy to get the "bistro" feeling of Paris in the US. There is more than the food element in a bistro. The close tables, a varied menu, quick and polite service, the din of the dining room as well as a feeling of being welcomed. We found all of this at Chow's Church St. location.

This restaurant was recommended to use for brunch on a Sunday. We were warned we might have to wait as it's a popular spot, but didn't have any trouble getting a table around 11am. Service was good and the menu had a good range of different types of food. I tried the french toast which was just amazingly good! My... More
