The diner-type atmosphere feels right and the service at the counter is efficient enough. The food was palatable if not memorable, I got the distinct feeling that there's plenty cooked ahead of time and then artfully reheated. There's nothing authentic about this BBQ (Memphis, South Carolina, Texas, Kansas City, or otherwise). The quality of meat is good and so is the service, though. more

Great place and good bbq, but I remember being on Beale street and them sloppin' on the BBQ sauce.... Minnie's is NOT the place to go if you are into good sauce on your BBQ.. more
