There should be a rating on Trip Advisor for Above-5. 10 of 10. Quince is not just a destination restaurant, it is a dining Experience. We were three diners, two visitors and a returning local. Extra-warm welcome. The service throughout was beautifully orchestrated: helpful, attentive, but not intrusive. The sommelier was superb in knowledge and suggestions (our host is also... More

We always like to celebrate a family occasion with a memorable meal and as our holiday in San Francisco was our first opportunity to mark our daughter's graduation, we splashed out with a meal at Quince. Exquisite doesn't even begin to describe it. In our group we sampled both the regular and the vegetarian tasting menu and every course was... More

Had dinner here last night for the third time in two years and must say it was excellent as always. The menu consists of a choice of 4 course dining or 9 course dining. Given it was a business Dinner with time constraints we opted for 4 courses. Food was magnificently presented and prepared and each course while small in... More

We visited Quince again, now in their newer location on Pacific Ave. What an amazing restaurant in so many ways, all great with one cautionary note. We both had the Quince menu with several substitutions and the wine pairings. Together the culinary experience was great. Several comments of note: 1. The dishes are very creative so expect something unusual most... More

For me Quince is the quintessential SF fine dining experience - more creative than Boulevard (in my opinion) and more relaxed and quieter than so many others. The service is sublime and perfectly choreographed while the kitchen is exceptional. Unlike a twelve course meal I recently had in Chicago where each serving was the size of a thimble which often... We had a great evening with one of the 9 course menus of the house. Solid, elegant and tasty cooking with a very consistent performance from both staff and kitchen. Elegant dished, often with modern (but not too modern) twists on classic Italian ingredients. The wine pairing was also good, showing off interesting local wines combined with classic Italian/French ones.... More

Quince is a culinary experience on its own. We had the 9 course tasting menu, a really surprising assembly of different kinds of food that surprises with every course. Seafood, beef, vegetables, great quality and great taste. Wine list is very comprehensive, we had a 2005 echezeaux priced very reasonably for the quality of the wine. This place is a... More

We met friends here for drinks since our table wasn't quite ready next door at Cotogna (sister property). We were a group of 5 and were seated right away in the bar section. The atmosphere was wonderful and we were able to comfortably catch up without yelling. The drinks were great as was the service, but they sure where pricey.... More

Quince as Italian is as dead as the Roman Empire. What started out as a couple making heartfelt pastas that sang with soul and emotion is now just a glorified Michelin ** star restaurant out for the bucks. We went there on a date about a week ago and did the Spring tasting menu (just 3 choices) at $130 for... More
