Victor's pizza has enticing slices in the window. It smells good, it looks good, but as you're walking into the always-empty restaurant you're confronted with a big sign: SLICES TO GO ONLY. Why?!? I can't imagine. All I can say is, I want to eat my slices nice and hot while I'm sitting down, not wandering around sketchy Polk St.... more

Very good pizza for the price by the slice. You can also do sitdown and order freshly made pasta. The perfect bookend to a late-show at the Lumiere, or a night of tranny boozing at the Cinch. more

We're always on the lookout for good Italian restaurants in San Francisco. Stopped in Victor's on Nob Hill this past weekend, and we weren't disappointed.
