Really nice owner, good beer selection. The burger, way too much pepper and too thick. Take a lesson from in n out burger, less is better sometime.

By chance we stopped by Frankie's undecided about dinner, left feeling we'd found something special...friendly, helpful....decent beer and wine plus great simple wholesome food...the Duck special with Red Cabbage & Potato extremely enjoyable. Apparently under new ownership, hence the good experience, plan to return.

Horrible food and filthy surroundings. I don't know why I went in the first place, except my friend wanted a beer. Yuck.

I wandered into Frankie's last Saturday to use a Groupon. I'd passed this little place on the corner of Divisadero and Pine for a few years as I used to work down the street at Mt. Zion and had only popped in once for beers with coworkers. I had been holding onto the Groupon for a while as the reviews... More

The people who work here are super nice, but the food was interesting...that's the only word for it.
