We were a party of three and we tried a variety of tapas and they were all excellent. The squid, the stuff peppers, mushrooms, churizo... All that with a pitcher of very good sangria, excellent service, reasonably priced and we had a great evening.

Tried a variety of tapas and every one was better than the last! Loved the mushrooms, the grilled chorizo, the peppers...scrumptious crab croquettes, meatballs were very good, tasty calamari. The sangria was tasty and the staff was very attentive. Looks like they could handle a bigger group - rustic tables could easily pull together. I will definitely come back next... More

Service was great, but the food was only OK. My friend's ahi tuna was way overlooked and very bland. The tofu was ok, but overpriced. Wouldn't go back.

Walked right in on a Thursday night and sat at a community table. Also lots of space at the bar. Ordered some tapas and sangria - everything was fresh and delicious. Found pimientos padron - lightly grilled small slightly spicy green peppers, just like the ones in Espana, perhaps a bit larger but very tasty, Charcuterie plate was great. Don't... More

Go there to enjoy nice tapas and salad for a reasonable price in this area. The quality of the food and the attention of the owner were much appreciated in addition to the sunny terrasse.

The owner is from France (basque country) and you get really authentic food from there...Service and food was really good and we felt very welcome. It's also not too expensive (for SF). I would definitely go again, to recommend.

The staff (owners?) are adorable, French and Spanish, and on my first visit with my son, our lunch was excellent. He had the grilled tofu, I the avocado surprise, and both were excellent. Second visit I ordered the same but was disappointed. On a third visit, with a friend, I ordered the mussels and fries. The fries were excellent, but... More

The food here was delicious and hassle free. They serve a nice selection of beers etc. Service was diligent, friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend this place for a lunch or dinner where you want the minimum of fuss and good food to keep you going as you explore San Francisco.

We stumbled across Bask while wandering around the area looking for dinner inspiration by our hotel - and what a find it turned out to be. We walked up on a Friday night and although they were busy the hostess worked wonders and politely re-organized patrons at the bar to squeeze us in after a few minutes. Some restaurant hosts... More

Place is cozy and noisy , manager is friendly and extremely helpful, all the tapas are top notched that we ordered so many that we lost count! The one with squid and its ink is a must try, the Spanish omellette is fried the right way as I had tasted in Spain. Grilled Tiger prawns are tasty, crab croquette is... More
