Very good baked goods for a chain

Would say there is a reason why Starbucks uses them for baked goods. Enjoyed the croissant and madelines with my Blue Bottle coffee. Will return.

We went here because we could not find a table at the Starbucks that was at the other end of the block. What a great find. There was long line but it moved quickly and plenty of tables inside and outside on their balcony. We thought people were ordering soup but they bought out our cappuccinos it was in a... More

Charming place with great service and super good food. This is a great place to pop in for your morning coffee and pastry or to grab a quick and tasty French influenced lunch. Every coffee I had to include the latte was fabulous. The sandwiches were on fresh, flavorful bread and there are a variety of savory and sweet tarts... More

Fantastis breakfast/lunch spot which I luckily found one day 1. Still 7 more to go :) Try the lemon tart, it is what a lemon tart should be.

this was our go to breakfast spot most mornings. The pastries are unbelievable. Service is quick and the egg sandwiches were delicious. Try at least once to stay there for a dine in coffee. Order a large,It comes in a bowl. The lattes and mochas smelled wonderful.

For a compact space, the food choices and quality were excellent. Service was friendly. I went here myself one day, and brought a friend the next day. Small dining area, mostly outside.

Nice spot for lunch. Quick note: the Tripadvisor map is very misleading... the place is located on the southeast side of Mission, at the edge of the Metreon, right next to Yerba Buena Gardens. Service was a bit slow (place was packed), but we were warned in advance and decided to wait. I had the club sandwich, which was very... More

We had a soup of the day (mushroom) and their club sandwich with additional egg to share. Club sandwich comes in 2 serving so it was great. It was filled with lots of avocado, tomatoes, bacon and ham. It came with a side salad which was average to me as I am not a fan of salads. The soup was... More

A sandwich place, with a definite flavor of France. Sandwiches are abundant and tasty, service is fast and friendly. We came back for lunch three times in a row, and tasted all what is on the menu, with good marks throughout.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
