Wow!!

One of the best dining experiences I can remember without remembering the exact dishes. Everything was a unique sensory experience. We "only" waited an hour on a Sunday night without reservations which I understand is amazing. Sensational food and just a lot of fun.

I've been fortunate enough to have eaten here twice and each time was amazing. The food is so unique and the concept is awesome. Word of advice is to pace yourself and go with a big eater so you can try more dishes :). The staff is knowledgeable and very attentive, I would highly recommended this restaurant, you will never... Friends advised us to try this place and reviews bolstered their claims. But we found out that there was a six month waiting list for reservations or we could wait in the line. We decided to wait 45 mins before it opened to see what the hype was about. This place offers a fresh take on certain classics (salmon tartare)... More

I am fortunate to travel and dine at some of the best restaurants in the world. It started as my wife's gastronomic obsession with me tagging along and over the decades you just know when a meal is great. This restaraunt was slighly above average with some dishes reaching for the stars. Staff seemed to really enjoy their work. I... More

This is literally one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. It's set up sort of like a dim sum restaurant with lots of small dishes to choose from. You can order off the menu and they are constantly walking around with trays of delicious creations to choose from. We... More

This place has rave reviews, queues out the door etc etc. I was slightly disappointed. The atmosphere is great. Fun and busy. My wine was excellent. I ate a variety of the small plates they brought to the table. One or two were great. Most were ok. None were out of this world. The hot food was usually just warm... More

I came here whilst on a family holiday visit. My father is a huge 'foodie' but this was definitely one of my favorite restaurants of all time! The staff were incredibly friendly, and we sat at the bar and had a lovely chat with the chef who told us about all the dishes and gave us a few recommendations as... More

The food was very good, the experience was unique and creative, and the service was amazing. It was a feast worth having. Fortunately for us, We went with my father, and not only was he able to get us in with only two days notice, but he footed the sizable bill. Having grown up in San Francisco, it's rare that... More

My visit was in March 2015 with 3 other diners. We ordered 20 dishes. Of which: the standouts were the fried pork belly with greens and citrus sections, guinea hen dumpling in aromatic mushroom broth and the fried bread with burrata. Even after our large feast, my belly still managed to polish off the highly-recommended ice cream sandwich. If you're... More

What a fun evening at State Bird Provisions. Food passes by, dim sum style, throughout the dining experience making this a great interactive sharing experience for us. The flavors of the food were delicious and interesting. Definitely a must visit restaurant.
