We went for lunch and thought it was a good place. Fresh breads and dishes. My husband had soup and I had a sandwich. Nice place to visit with lots of great goodies that you can buy (but expensive). If your around and you want a quick bite, then pop in even just to smell fresh bread.

Best house coffee, really bold, great pastries at about $2.25. Small shop. With seating for about 30 people. Get there early before the goodies are gone.

This was a great meal and smelling the freshly baking sourdough was awesome. Our server was very bad but honestly he seemed to be the exception. We had a great view of the bay. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

We all hate grabbing food at the airport to eat on the plane. But I made all others in my row jealous with the amazing California sandwich from Boudins at the airport. FRESH, hand-made, perfectly ripe avocados. I was actually happy eating a meal on a plane.

This is a very nice airport cafe with pleasant workers. The food was delicious, and I especially liked that both my sandwich and my cookie stayed together during the flight and didn't disintegrate into my lap or my neighbor's lab. I had the turkey/cranberry sandwich and the chocolate cookie, both fresh and good.

lots of tourists jockey for position downstairs. limited menu but it includes Boudin's clam chowder in a classic sourdough bread bowl. This was for the heathens!!! take the time and venture upstairs to Boudin's restaurant. views a great but the food and service are better we had the oysters on the half shell and oyster Rockefeller. Both 5*!!! Our soup... More

You can watch bakers making dough into turtles and crabs in the window, they will talk to you and answer questions. The bread, no matter how it is formed, is very good. Bread and real butter, you can't beat it. They make 15,000 loaves a day. You can smell the bread blocks away down Fisherman's Wharf. Yum.

So it's neither bad mor good, a lot of hype since there are so many wonderful small bakery's every where you look...seemed silly to me to fight the crowd got the big production.

Love the sourdough bread. Desserts were also quite good with our favorite being the chocolate dipped haystack. Museum upstairs was also great fun with Jean and Robert as our guides to the history of the Boudin Bakery.
