Probably the worlds smallest chocolate shop but boy were the reviews spot on! I had to buy a box of truffles after trying the cognac, dark chocolate and my absolute favorite the madagascar vanilla!

Last minute decision to come to this tiny little truffle shop. The girls and I didn't know what to expect, but we left feeling grateful we stopped. Aside from some very delicious truffles, my favorite being the cayenne tequila and peanut butter, our friendly truffle provider Nelson was what made this visit so pleasant. Thank you Nelson for your warmth... More

Stopped by for a dessert and though crowded, it was worth the wait. They have many different flavor and varieties. I loved all the ones I picked, dark espresso, coconut, raspberry and my wife tried some different ones as well. Very small shop inside so if you don't eat at one of the front tables outside, just walk over to... More

I have been to this shop on two previous occasions and while the coffee and truffles are wonderful the service has a lot to be desired.

You enter this place and land in France. Wonderful coffee and truffles, and the price is not that high (and totally worth it).

Well, they focused on one key item - Chocolate Truffles - and then turned it into a foodie art form, if you can imagine. Located in a Mim and Pop type of local shop but serving up tasty treats beyond description and comparison. Try to eat just one! Yum. ...

Little spot, yummy hand made truffles. My favorites were the black & whites and the honey vodka. Free taste with coffee drink. I'm not even a real chocolate fiend, but these little nuggets are delicious. Just let a couple melt in your mouth. ( :

Our first intention was a to grab a quick coffee... the we were offered a homemade chocolate truffle each from at least 20 flavour choices. Day 2 in SF we made the effort to return, this time stayed for our coffee and sinfully enjoyed yet another truffle. Honestly being offered a chocolate with your coffee, how can you not leave... Highlight of my day. I will definitely go back next time in the city. They were all delicious - coconut, caramel, hazelnut, cognac, orange. And their mochas and hot chocolates delicious too. LOVE this place. They are very friendly and personable.

Staying in North Beach / Telegraph Hill

Neighborhood Profile
North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian ristorante come together to create the charming neighborhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always suitable for younger visitors, few neighborhoods in the city exude as much European charm and style. Peruse a bookstore for the literature of Kerouac, Ferlinghetti and Ginsberg, grab some gelato and head to Washington Square for a perfect afternoon of people watching. Just east of North Beach, the hills and staircases of Telegraph Hill are a unique delight. At its peak, the art deco Coit Tower provides sweeping panoramic views of the bay and city. The beautifully landscaped Filbert Street Steps, a street too steep for a roadway, rewards those willing to hike uphill. Keep your ears open and you might even hear the squawk of the wild parrots who call this neighborhood home.
